She was a true professional right from the start, introducing herself and calling us by name the moment you arrive at her quaint but classy studio. From the start, she handled the parents, laying down the expectations and the process of getting some keepsake photos of our baby girl and asking us for any desires or input for the shoot. We love our final product! Her naturalistic style is gorgeous! We're happy it wasn't hoaky like some other photographer's albums we've seen... She focuses on the quirks and beauty of your little bundle-o-joy! For those of you who haven't experienced infant photography, it requires some WORK! Kelly handled our baby with amazing comfort and care, helping get her cozy for the shoot. She maintained that gentle touch throughout the shoot, reposing her and re-shooshing her as needed. Get this, she wasn't even phased by the one or two.... ok three times she peed or poo'd during the shoot. Ok I lied, it could've been 4 times ;) We, as a family, recommend Kelly for your baby photos. We will come back to her for more of our baby milestones. She has some clever ideas for future shoots!

I got engaged a few months ago and started the wedding planning process. I had no idea what I was…read moredoing and it all felt so overwhelming! I was searching for a photographer and was a little nervous in doing so. The pictures and capturing our moments are so important to me and trusting a complete stranger to be able to do that for me was a little scary. Well I went online and searched and found B. Israel Photography. I messaged them and Cindy messaged me back right away. We chatted for a bit about what we wanted, what they could do for us, and the cost. The price was right on. Not the lowest bid we got, but not the highest either; in the middle and super reasonable for all the extras we would get! I checked out their website and WOW....the pictures on there looked AMAZING! I knew right then I had to have them, so I booked them that same day! Yesterday we met Cindy and Jay for the first time for our engagement pictures. They had found a park that had some beautiful scenery and great light for our shoot. We were super nervous going into the shoot because we had never done this before. We didn't know what to expect or if our personalities/visions would mesh. However within minutes our fears were put to rest! Both Cindy and Jay were absolutely amazing, super personable, yet professional and down to business. Within minutes we were laughing and joking around with them and they really made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. Jay is a bit of a perfectionist (which we loved) and would position us in places where the light hit us just right. When he got the shot he wanted his whole face would light up and you could tell that he truly enjoyed what he was doing. While we did some posed pictures we were encouraged to be natural, move around like we normally would, and to just enjoy the moment. Cindy would help to make sure that while striking a pose, or anytime we moved, that our body's looked natural and that we looked the best we could look in each position. While they didn't show us our photos at the shoot, there was one pose I really wanted. Jay was able to capture that picture, showed it to me to make sure I liked it, and we took it a few times to get it just as I was imagining it in my head. I was blown away. The raw pictures already looked perfect with the light streaming through the trees, and it didn't look posed but like he had secretly captured us in a moment! I can't wait to see the final version of it!!! Today was a huge success. Cindy and Jay were so much more than what we expected. You could tell that they knew what they were doing and truly enjoyed the shoot as much as we did! I can honestly say that I know our engagement pictures and our wedding pictures will turn out amazing because of their knowledge, skill, and ability to make us relax in front of the camera. I can't say enough good things about this duo and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone looking for any type of photo shoot (engagement, wedding, family, baby, etc). Can't wait to work with them again on the wedding day!!!!!

I had zero problem helping a new artist get off the ground and I did like the shots that she had posted on FB, Yelp and her blog. Her response to set up an appointment to sign a contract and take your money was at record speed. Her promptness on delivery the photos was almost three times longer than quoted at the time of this review and I have still not received the photo disc from my son's first birthday and we are going on 9 weeks. I am starting to believe that she does not have the photos to give me. She has not once emailed me on her own to give me an update. It has always been me emailing to get an update and she always has an excuse as to why I still don't have the pictures. She was hired to take pictures of the decorations/food/set up etc and to take pictures of the party. She wasn't being asked to bring me the moon. She didn't even need to touch up anything. She only needed to take pictures, put them on a disc and mail them to me. As of recent, I emailed her on a Thursday about the progress and she assured me that it was in the mail and she even confirmed my address. She stated that if I didn't have it Monday to email her immediately and she would send out another and set up a web link with the images. What did a receive in response? An out of office/on vacation auto reply. F***ing unbelievable! Not a single person took pictures of the big day and this will be his only first birthday. I am so incredibly disappointed that I can't even wrap my mind around the fact that I will most likely never see pictures of this milestone. There were some other small issues that we experienced due to her being new but I let them roll off my back because I would hope someone would do the same for me if I was just starting a business but the complete lack of pictures 9 weeks after his party is more than I can take and has led me to write this very negative review. She also did our family pictures two days before the party. I experienced the same struggle to get this pictures and that was just about 20 pictures on a link. I haven't even received the release to have them printed. This entire experience has been nothing but negative. I hope that anyone else that has hired her has received much better service because no one deserves to miss out on such important events due to shoddy service. Please take extreme caution when hiring Busy Bee Photography!

I've also worked as a photographer's assistant at a number of events, so I have a pretty good idea what needs to be done from behind the lens. You could call my opinion here a studied one. Having so many experiences with wedding professionals, I was appalled when I saw this "professional" photographer's pictures of my friends' special day. Overall there were too few pictures to choose from, and in many cases only ONE or NONE of VIMs (Very Important Moments - groom's face on bride's entrance, bride walking down the aisle with her father, the vows, the KISS, entire bridal party together, "grand entrance" at reception, first dance, etc.) No effort was made at consistency with bridal party photos - some groomsmen were wearing sunglasses, others not; odd spacing of bridesmaids on stairs; one ring bearer wearing a jacket, the other not; flower girls flowers missing from all but one shot; etc. All shots inside were either dark, or completely washed out by the flash - he had no filter over his flash to create a fill without whiteout. He was advised of the lighting in the church and reception hall beforehand, but made no effort to compensate for it or request additional lighting. There were no candid pictures of the guests at the wedding, which were requested and paid for. And, the proof book was covered with stickers that read things like "Redo" and "Ooops!" Totally unprofessional. My friend received photos from guests that turned out better than this "professional photographer" took. When my friend asked for an appointment to meet with him to discuss her pictures, he gave her a bunch of excuses for why they weren't up to par, including that he didn't use a digital camera. I know some professionals prefer film to digital for various reasons, but all of the ones that I've worked with have disclosed up front their preference and their reason for it. He never once mentioned to the bride pre-booking that he would not be using a digital camera. All of the items above were preventable with a little bit of planning and organization on the photographer's part. I cannot urge you enough to keep this "professional" away from your special day, unless you enjoy looking washed out or completely obscured in shadow. You cannot imagine the disappointment the bride felt when she opened up her proof book and realized there were no photos she wanted as keepsakes.

Al was extremely professional in his attire and manner through the entire event. All the pictures came out amazing and well exceeded our expectations. Each shot that was taken of my wedding captured a moment that I doubt many other photographers would have got. After the ceremony I had so many people tell me that I should have seen my face when my bride came out. I figured it was something that I would not have a chance to see. You would not believe my surprise when I viewed the proofs and saw that exact picture of my face! Not just that but the time he took to take that picture never took away from the pictures of my bride making her way down the aisle. Mr Rosales is a master of his craft and I would recommend him to anyone and everyone I know. I also agree that it does seem unfair that photographers don't have the ability to issue a rebuttal. Many things can happen that can lead to someone having a bad experience and blame is often placed where it shouldn't be.
