Finding Heart of Texas was the absolute best thing that happened to us during the project due to the amount of choices available. Their Brownwood store has the largest selection of countertops I've ever seen and their staff is friendly and super helpful! Jami and Tayler are absolutely amazing and they have great insight if you need help deciding on what to get. My husband is very picky and he wouldn't make any decisions without getting Jami's opinion on it first. Overall, I can't say enough good things about them! If you need any sort of countertops, please give them your business--you won't be disappointed!

There is a selection of furniture, books, and other items but to be honest we never made it past the vintage jewelry section. I spent less then $30 for 2 earrings, 2 bracelets, and 2 necklaces. My initial plan was to put it on the curb and hope someone wants it, but with all the rain, did not think that a good idea. Take it to the dump? Well the Hood County Citizens Collection Station (244 Bray Street) charges, per piece! It would have cost us at least $25 to toss it. Well we called the Goodwill Store and they said they will take it. It's not in horrible shape, just old. It was a beast loading the thing. Thankfully several kind employees help unload it. Easy peasy nice and easy. And a tax receipt too! Next time we are near, going to stop in and check out the store. Bottom line: It's great to repurpose!
