Captain Mike was amazing! I highly recommend this company. The weather was against us but what can you do about that, we couldn't get out and swim with dolphins because the water was just too choppy/aggressive and the dolphins didn't want to hang around long. The storm rolling in did create an exciting boat trip though! Our captain was knowledgeable and personable and we got so close to a couple dolphins even with the waters being a little rough. Shell island and snorkeling and the beach were incredible! The water was so clear and I found a ton of creatures to share with my kids. On the way back we found some sea turtles too! This was my favorite part of our vacation.

BEST FREAKING TIME EVER!!! We reserved the private 3 hour boat tour (dolphin, shell island, snorkeling). Benji was our Captain and he was absolutely phenomenal!! I wouldn't have wanted anyone else!! He was so much fun and interacted with everyone in our group (a Memaw, 3 adults and 2 kids). Shell island was awesome!! Seen crabs, sting rays, fish and found some awesome shells. The water is stunning. Didn't see many dolphin, but we know and common sense tells us, that no one can control that. Kids enjoyed snorkeling (they really just wore the goggles LOL) It really was an awesome time and worth every penny!! Will absolutely do this again when we visit!!

This was my first experience going on a boat tour and the only way it would've been better was if the dolphins let us actually swim with them. Our tour guide, Jason, was very friendly and made the trip so much fun. Very good driver and was able to find a Manatee and a Dolphin on our excursion!! He tried to get ahead of the dolphin enough so we could jump in and swim with it, but the dolphin just wasn't having it. He said a lot of times the first tour of the day it was more challenging to find the dolphins, so would probably choose a later tour time if I go again. Overall a great experience and I'd definitely ask to have Jason as our guide again!!

    High-fiving captain Guy!

We booked a private dolphin tour for our family of 6 last minute after a friend recommended this company. We called on a Wednesday and we were able to get in the next day. Our family HAD A BLAST!! We got to swim with dolphins, saw a baby dolphin, a sea turtle, got to dive for shells and look at a shipwreck, as well as being shells home for souvenirs. Ask for Captain Guy! He is hilarious and was a hit with the kids. He made sure we all had fun and was eager to please our family. Will be back for sure!! If you're on the fence about this one, don't wait. We're usually very frugal and don't spend much on excursions, but this was reasonable and well worth the price!

    Sunset

Best Sunset Cruise Ever! First time we have ever taken a sunset cruise and it will now be a must every year! I cannot speak highly enough of Captain Bryce. He went out of his way to make sure we had the best time possible! We got to swim with dolphins, snorkel, look for sand dollars and see the most beautiful sunset. When we thought we were finished, he surprised us by showing us deer on the beach! He was friendly and very knowledgeable. This was definitely the highlight of our vacation!

This dolphin was right next to our ship, was really cool being this close to a wild untrained dolphin!

My family booked a private sunset dolphin tour and had "Turtle" as our captain! (Seriously, ask him about the story for his nickname) He took us to a couple really neat places! (A shipwreck and a tower with an Osprey nest at the top) We saw some moon jellies and a lot of seagulls on top of the dolphins! They came really close to our boat so it was cool seeing wild dolphins that close! We saw a pod of about 4-5 dolphins swimming formation!

They made the experience tailored and special. The captain was kind and made an effort to know all of our names. Highly recommend.

With the other couple we decided to watch the dolphins first and then go to Shell Island and snorkel.

We opted for the 10 Hour Trip (2 hours out, ~6 hours of fishing, 2 hours back). Quick edit: we only had ~26 people fishing and I'm thankful for that! It was coooooold the morning of and it had stormed the previous two days. Thankfully we were prepared. I'd recommend bringing a book bag or light sack with: sunscreen, hat, glasses, long sleeve shirt/hoodie, Gatorade, rain jacket and change of shirt. They do provide sunscreen, medicine, food, snacks and drinks onboard for a cost (see my menu photos). It was ROUGH going out, thanks to the storms leaving. We hit 5-6 foot waves and it was bumpy on some parts. I almost lost my stomach and went to the back of the boat for fresh hair for the last 45 minutes going out. There were a few people who got really sick. Make sure you clean your system out before getting on the boat (ie: get your out) because the two bathrooms are tiny. We were assigned fishing spots (dad got us back of the boat) and had buckets of squid ready to go. Capt would hit his horn, letting you know it was time to drop the line in. You'd pretty much either get something right away or nothing. It didn't take long to get the hang of it: drop to the bottom, reel twice up, keep the line tight, jerk the rod when you feel a nibble, reel up and check rod pressure to ensure you got something. It's a very quick process! One thing you'll notice is the different arm muscles you'll use. I caught the only Grouper for this trip and it certainly tired my wrist out. I literally got a Charlie horse in my wrist and toe after hauling that sucker onboard. It wasn't Red Snapper season (June 1st) but my dad caught 3 huge Red Snappers. We got to keep 10 B-Liners each, and also caught some white snapper. Overall, we hit our limit and caught extra for others on the boat. The helpers did an awesome job! The ride coming back in was pleasant and we sat on top of the boat. It was a fun experience! Make sure to tip the Captain and your helper! Great crew and they got the job done! There is also a fish cleaning place at the dock that'll fillet the fish for you at $.80/lb.

Our first stop, of course, was the sinkholes and waterfall. While the waterfall itself felt a little underwhelming considering it's described as the highest waterfall in the state, the experience was still quite serene. Hearing the water drop, feeling the cool breeze from the running water, and simply pausing to take it all in made the stop worthwhile. We were a bit disappointed to find that parts of the trail system were closed off, which limited some of our planned exploration. That said, we kept walking and were able to find other trails to enjoy. We ended up wandering around for about two hours, though we know we didn't get to see everything the park has to offer. One of my favorite unexpected features was the dedicated bat habitat area, which was both interesting and unique. Overall, it's a peaceful park with more to discover than meets the eye, and a nice place to spend a couple of hours exploring nature.
