This is a great wee place, admittedly, it doesn't look much from the outside, but when all the…read moretables outside are mobbed by locals at 10am on a Wednesday, you know you're onto a good thing!
We were here with friends who stay nearby so never actually saw a menu as they ordered for us, I presume there is one though lol, either way, I'd quite happily have had the same thing over and over again.
First off, a kinda do-it-yourself bruschetta. The ciabatta comes grilled, you then rub on garlic yourself, drizzle with olive oil and top with a tomato based sauce, so good, and yes, this is a breakfast thing apparently!
Next up, what every table seemed to be ordering, churros. Nothing like the ones back in Glasgow, these are gigantic, crisp outside yet soft inside with a mug of gooey, dark chocolate sauce for dipping - oh my days! How have I survived to my 30's without these!?
Add in a round of coffees and the bill worked out at €3 each! Ridiculously cheap and hence our return visit later in the week. Now if I could only move this place to Glasgow, or me to Spain, I'd be forever a cheery churros chicka!
