I've been very disappointed with the handling of my State Farm claim through Rob Cutter's agency…read more The inspector did not enter the crawlspace, even though it was central to the moisture and mold issues I reported. My claim was denied, and after I raised concerns about the incomplete inspection, the same inspector was involved again. In my experience, communication was poor, and I do not believe the investigation was thorough. This has left me questioning the experience and qualifications of the people assigned to evaluate my claim. I strongly suggest anyone considering State Farm carefully review the policy's coverage, exclusions, and claim procedures before purchasing. When you need to file a claim, you expect a thorough inspection, clear communication, and a fair evaluation. I do not feel I received that.

In trying to contact Heritage for resolution, I hit dead ends with phone numbers and email addresses. After calling NC Coastal Insurance, our agent for the Heritage policy for help in contacting Heritage, Sarah took over. Sarah made sure to understand my needs and questions, and then promptly found the answers and called and emailed me the info. Sarah went further with follow-through than I expected. Sarah went above and beyond with customer service. I'm very pleased with Heritage's response (an additional check), but wouldn't have received it without Sarah taking charge. Thank you Sarah.
