I'm gonna start by saying the massage was so great that my spouse and I agreed on five stars even with our criticism I'm about to share! The environment was great, the service was BEYOND friendly from the second we walked in. There was a few minutes of confusion as we sat in the lobby alone wondering if the language barrier had us about to just wait for an hour... these ladies were so sweet and incredible at giving massages but the English was very minimal. I was asked often if the intensity was ok, and it was intense! But going in I thought maybe soft would be good from all the hiking I was really sore! But I trusted the process and she nailed it, at one point I was convinced she had six hands. She adjusted her technique a bit for me cause my armpits are ticklish so I appreciated that! My husband said he didn't get asked as often as I did about the intensity but was fine with that because they massaged exactly how he needed! The foot massage half (we did combo 30min massage 30 foot massage) was great but if you've done a foot massage before and it was the foot bath and wash/massage don't expect that, expect a deep and detailed foot and lower leg massage; they even massaged my knees which was incredible because I have really bad knees! My husband has gotten massages in Thailand and in Japan and said that felt like a very traditional Asian massage with all the detail and pressure necessary to really massage all over! Reading other reviews I understand the frustration some people may have with the language barrier but their service was incredible, they definitely mean well and they took us both as walk ins at 8pm which was amazing for our vacations hectic schedule! read more

We LOVE this place! We've been trying to come here once a month- to relax & to do some self care together. Joel usually wants a swedish type massage, and I like deep tissue. There's a room that has a ladder if you want them to tread on your back, and the 90 minute massage is my favorite, with the hot stones. There is little English spoken here, but they are always friendly & they speak the language of massage & relaxation! The last time we came, there were 5 of us (we scheduled ahead of time) and they took excellent care of my mother who hadn't had a massage in 11 years due to her stroke. Needed a massage in a pinch today, and I was sad to find that my usual spot ( Cascade Day Spa ) had closed down. This business is by my house, and I was able to book online while I was busy at work, with a text message confirmation. They offer free Hot Stone & CBD Oil. The massage therapist was nice and kind, and checked in on me and on the strength of the massage. The establishment was clean, and tidy. My one critique and advice would maybe have some sort of candle, incense, or infuser in the room for a pleasant smell during the massage. Fast, friendly, and convenient! read more

I just had the most amazing massage at Blue Bay Massage. Li was my massage therapist, and I didn't realize how badly I needed that massage until I walked out the door. I feel like a new person. Everything was perfect. She applied the correct amount of pressure to work out all the kinks and yet was gentle enough where I could just relax and enjoy every second of it. The massage table was heated, the music was pleasant, the place was clean and Li focused on the areas that needed a little extra attention. She even gave me a sample of a hot stone massage which felt amazing. I hope Li will be there the next time I go cause I don't treat myself to a massages very often. We had a couples massage scheduled at 2:15 for 90 minutes. We arrived two minutes late due to poor timing and traffic on our part. A woman who I assume is a massage therapist asked us three times if we had a scheduled appointment and finally took us to a room. She said she'd return in 10 minutes. We laid on our beds for just under 30 minutes with no updates. We ended up leaving. Terrible communication, especially when our appointment was booked and we received a text confirmation. I was desperately needing a massage due to muscle spasm. All my usual haunts were booked and so I found Blue Bay online. I booked for a 90 minute massage. It is such a small place I couldn't see it when I drove through the parking lot. It is like a hole in the wall between Safeway and Dollar Tree. There's no sign on the building to indicate its location. The massage itself was excellent, it was provided by a very beautiful and strong Chinese lady. My only complain is that she was overbooked so she only can give me an hour massage when I chose and confirm 90 minutes. Besides that, she was constantly interrupted by leaving the room due to music not playing correctly on the player or needing to go get materials. Ok, great reviews from others but save your money people. They booked us short notice, that was awesome (what the star is for). I wanted my upper body done ONLY so I left my pants and underwear on. My masseuse pulled them down. I was stunned and before I could react she began applying deep pressure to my buttocks. First I asked for light pressure and second I asked for upper body? Was hoping to keep my lower body untouched but my skivs and my pants were to my knees and my lower half thoroughly rubbed. Not in the greatest way. I have had my fair share of massages and it just felt like she didn't know what she was doing. I have never been pantsed in my life but me and my friend both had it done to us on the fateful day we chose this spa. Do. Not. Go. Here. I wanted to ask for my money back because it was $120.00 but I was so uncomfortable and honestly didn't want to spend any more time in there. My body is more sore than when I went in and I'm expecting to wake up bruised in the morning by the feel of it. I suggest you stick to places such as purple pear, or just have a car run you over, might end up feeling better. read more

I was in desperate need of some high pressure massage for painful rotator cuffs. I have 2 young kids and scheduling is very difficult for me. I called the day before and they were happy to schedule an appointment before normal opening hours to accommodate me. Phoebe was my masseuse. I recently moved and Bluebay is very close to my house - so that was about the end of my research oh hey look it's close. I made an appointment which they actually sort of discouraged and said it would be better just to come in when I felt like I needed a massage - which kind of amused me. I had one of the best massages I have ever had. It was not the fluffy robe and cucumber mint water spa that I normally enjoy. This was just a massage place, nice and clean, no-frills, but the massage was incredible and the price was much nicer than the fluffy robe places. I do plan on going back and because the price is so reasonable and like I said it's close to my house - I will probably go too often, but there's really no such thing as too often. If we all had massages and therapy on a weekly basis I believe there would be no more wars - so do your part and check out Bluebay. read more

I was visiting on business and saw the sign and decided I could treat myself to a massage/spa treatment.. I had just left my hotel and had dinner before and thought a good massage might help me sleep as I always have difficulty when on the road. Upon entering the door was struck by the nice ambiance and the very clean and professional décor. I was greeted by a smiling, petite Asian lady that introduced herself as Amy. She asked if I needed a shower and I told her I had already showered that evening and then was led back to a very nice room. Amy said she would be doing my massage that evening and I paid for the massage in advance. Price was very reasonable for a hour and half massage, ( I said I was treating myself ). Amy left me alone while I got ready and knocked shortly after asking if I was ready. She started some nice music and started on my back with out oil and loosened me up. Shortly, she started after she got some warm oil and asked how hard I liked the pressure. I told her hard and for such a small person I was surprised by how firm her hand and arm pressure was. Anyway, I was interested in getting to know more about Vancouver and Amy and she was quite friendly and while her English is not great we still were able to communicate well enough. I enjoyed the massage and the whole experience and was able to sleep like a babe that night. Nice clean legitimate massage with CMT quality masseuse that is very friendly and welcoming is what I needed that evening and I recommend this place for any other travelers or locals. read more

Not sure what all these five star revies are for. Had a 10:00 a.m. appointment but no one was there when I arrived. Waited for 10 minutes before leaving. Came back around 10:20 and two gals were there. They said they could accomodate my hour appointment at that time. I went to use the restroom and as I passed by the massage rooms and into the bathroom I was totally grossed out. No toilet paper on the roll. Nothing to dry your hands with. Dirty floors and dirty counters. Personal items (I'm assuming that belong to the massage therapists strewn about the bathroom) and a used applicator tube of femine cream sitting on top of the waste basket. So gross! I left the restroom and promptly left the "spa" (although I think that it an extreme abuse of the word) without sticking around for my belated appointment. Would NEVER go back and NEVER recommend this place to anyone. If it was possible to give negative stars I would. read more
