First and foremost I did a LOT of pre research. It paid off. Captn Dean and his Deck Hand first…read moremate all around great guy Billy are totally serious fisherman and charter team. Lots of other charters look good, sound good and probably advertise flashier and better. But the bottom line is, if you want to catch fish rather than just saying you went out fishing, then THIS is the charter boat to take. Why this ranks as a 4 Star is rediculous, and if your doing a half day charter then that's a mistake IF your serious about cathing fish. They WILL put you on fish! We booked for two days during Memorial Day Weekend and caught a boatload both days! We were freaking physically sore both days from catching fish. Blackfin tuna, Barracuda, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Bonita, Skipjacks, Kingfish and a couple of seaweed monsters. We did two days of Full day charters. I recommend you do a full day IF your serious about cathing fish. If you do half days with anyone, your likely not serious and depending on weather, etc you may miss the bite if you're out there for only 3.5 hours. If I was going to book half day it would definitely only be Double D because he gets you on the fish. When we returned on both days, we were the ONLY boat cleaning fish! We are definitely coming back and want to do his overnight Bahama trips. He's good with all sorts of anglers, my daughters husband had never fished before, my daughter had fished a lot of freshwater and I had done both but it had been years.

Randy made every attempt to sabotage our event by: *Demanding more money *Telling us we can only have 65 guests now. And that every person over the count of 65 ppl would be a charge of $100/pp. We 1st told him 80ppl, and he agreed. It changed weeks prior to our event. (the # of people is NOT in the contract) *Denying our Decorator ample time to decorate a 105' vessel *Asking for proof of payment several times; when it was paid via ZELLE *Lying minutes prior to the time our guests were to board, saying the boat had engine failure! *When Randy arrived over an hour late, he had a digital counter to count the number of people we had in attendance (we had 60 ppl; his boat allows for 100+) *Randy pretended he didn't know or remember he had a Boat Broker who accepted the deposit for the use of the boat *Randy told us 30 minutes was ample time for the Decorator to decorate the 105' boat. And asked what kind of Decorator needs more time than that. (contract states access the day before the charter) *Randy said that the Caterers didn't need to prepare the trays on the boat until the guests & my Husband & I boarded. (contract states otherwise) *Randy is condescending, snide, evil & a vulture. As an African American couple w/ mostly African American guests, we were made to feel completely uncomfortable on my very special occasion. Ourselves & our guests are all professional & affluent individuals & couples, some even millionaires & celebrities.
