I got there around 4pm and only waited a few minutes to place my order. Please note that they do NOT accept credit cards. It's cash, cashapp or two other electronic transfer methods (sorry I can't remember exactly which ones). The owners are SUPER nice!!! I love them! They have a decent sized menu. The soul bowls are a tremendous value!!! For $14.50, you get your choice of protein--no pork--and three sides (greens, mac and cheese and sweet potato yams). For another $4, you can add on cornbread dressing. Today, I waited just under two hours for my order. You can sit in your car or leave if you need to and they text you when your order is ready. When I went in to get my order they had the sold-out sign up, so I encourage you to try to get there at least a couple hours before closing. Now to the food, it is amazing! The mac and cheese is probably the best restaurant mac and cheese I've ever had. It is cheesy with a nice crust. The sweet potatoes are sweet and delicious.
