He offered my recently 18-yr old to smoke from his pen, in addition to his side cash driving lessons business where we would save money vs. booking through the school. It took me 3 tries to actually speak with the manager (left a voicemail and then texted them twice). The manager pretended not to know what I was calling about and then proceeded to share details from the instructor's POV. So clearly she knew why I was calling. Instead of being apologetic and trying to remedy the situation, she pointed blame on my son and said it was his vape and he convinced the instructor to smoke. Look, I understand that kids are kids and I will never know the real truth. However, from a "professional" company NONE of this should be happening and the Manager should have address this correctly with her employee and with us (his parents). This is not ok especially with a kid who barely turned 18.

Oxford Driving School was able to fit me in for a same-week lesson despite my full-time work schedule, and the booking process was very smooth. I especially wanted to give my instructor, Chie, a shout-out. She was sweet, kind, encouraging, and very attentive to safety throughout our drive. She gave me clear, honest feedback about what I still needed to improve, particularly with parking, lane changes, speed, and traffic checks, while explaining corrections in a way that was constructive. I also appreciated that she struck a good balance between instruction and independence. She kept a close eye on what I was doing and stepped in when appropriate, but she also gave me opportunities to practice judging traffic gaps and making driving decisions for myself. She was sincerely invested in helping me understand how to reverse and park correctly rather than simply getting through the lesson. And somehow, she was in a great mood on a Saturday morning before 10 AM! As someone who is definitely not a morning person, I consider that a colossal feat.
