we used living fresh recently to create the flowers for our wedding in waterloo, ON (bouquets,…read morecorsages, centrepieces, small flower arrangements, etc). i could not be happier with the work that they did or our experience with living fresh throughout the entire process. the flowers alone made our venue spectacular! while i knew generally what my style was, i certainly didn't have specific design requirements or ideas. i gave tina some guidance in terms of colours and style, pinned a number of pictures that i liked, and let her run with it. after seeing photos of her work leading up to the wedding i knew that we were in good hands, and yet when i saw the flowers and venue for the first time that evening i was absolutely stunned at how perfect they were. she executed a vision that i didn't even know i had, but the flowers were exactly what i wanted. not only was tina a complete professional to work with throughout the process, but she was calm, cool, and collected on the day of our wedding despite the fact that it was total chaos on our end. amazing work, could not recommend her highly enough.

I ordered flowers last week from NB through Cameron's . I…read morephoned & told them the occasion & my preference ... they suggested something a little different & it was a win for sure. My friend was thrilled with the arrangement & 1 week later she said they are still perfect while all the others she received have wilted & died. I had read some reviews & was a little concerned but I would definitely recommend them. Flowers are not inexpensive these days but I don't mind if the quality & value are there. Most definitely pleased.

I am writing this review on Yelp because a negative review on the Cameron's website does not get…read moreposted because they are in control. My son sent me an Orchid form Cameron's for my birthday. It clearly was not a fresh orchid. You could see where several blossom's had already fallen off and there were no new buds which you always find on a fresh orchid. I have had orchids for many years and you can expect them to last at least 2 months. In this case the orchid started to die in 5 days. When I received the orchid it had been clearly overwatered. This orchid should never been sold. I phoned Cameron's to express my concern and after being passed to various people, the person I talked to seemed to be in charge. The person offered no solutions to the problem. Good customer service would have meant they would have replaced the orchid. I know that Cameron's has changed hands over the last several years and it is not the florist the original owners had created. The quality of their flowers. is simply inferior. We stopped using them as our florist several years ago and I am going to advise my son to stop using them as well.

Awesome place! I did not realize it was so huge and had so much!!…read more Loads of yarns for the knitters; waaaay more in the way of fabrics for those of us who like to quilt or sew; and a large variety of household items - all at affordable and discounted prices. I will most certainly be back, once I finish these 4 projects I just picked up... Wowsers! Note: I am giving Len's a 4 out of 5 stars only because they don't offer upscale yarns (such as alpaca or qiviut), and because it is a warehouse. Mind you, when I expressed my pleasant surprise at what I found there to one of the clerks, she indicated that this was only a small portion of the yarns they do offer. If I ever go back and see the natural fibers I so love to knit with (over and above the sheep's wool, that is), I will most certainly post an update here. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit and I am eagerly and anxiously knitting away and current projects in order to get to the yarns I bought over the weekend. Happy Knitting, everyone!! Updated August 27 2012 to add that Len's Mill Stores has opened a new location in Toronto on Orfus Road! Yay!! That much closer to home (Ottawa)... Keep 'em comin'! :-)

We don't live in Stratford, but we were spending our anniversary there, and received a surprise…read morebouquet at the hotel, sent from my mother. We loved it immediately - it was gorgeous, and who can resist surprise flowers? After talking to my mom, I found out that Wade's actually created it that very day, since she was unsure if we would get to Stratford (weather was looking to be bad). She also mentioned that she had chosen it from their online selection (berries and spice) and after I looked it up online, I have to say, the bouquet we received is even prettier than the one shown online. The one we received was just as full of red flowers, but somehow looks more balanced. The basket was also more gorgeous (not exactly the one shown, a darker wood) and had a few other minor differences - overall, it was delightful. It's sitting proudly in our living room now, and if I ever need flowers in Stratford, I'll definitely choose Wade's.

Emerald Muse has become a regular shop to visit when in town seeing a play in Stratford. It's…read morelocated right next to Distinctly Tea. It's a small metaphysical gift shop selling tarot cards, books on spells and witchcraft, blessed herbal candles with healing properties, and crystals and gemstones all labeled with their unique purposes. It reminds me a lot of the store Earth Lore in the Metro-Detroit area. The gemstones are always fun to look through and each stone has a card that tells what it helps to enrich or attract. They also have bags with multiple stones that work together and there are gemstone bags for love, protection, grief, health and more. The bags which come with around five stones are $10 Canadian. There is also artwork and jewelry for sale. The owner/shopkeep was very nice and helpful. I'm sure I will be back during my next trip to Stratford.
