While speaking with Sebastian, they agreed to look at removing scratches from both the driver front door and passenger front door ONLY . He looked at the interior as well as said that because it was in good condition, he would also discount the interior detail cost. He stated that removing scratches from the two doors would be $100 each. When my daughter was called to pick up the vehicle (very near closing time), she went to her vehicle and noticed that the scratches were not gone. When she asked about it the female worker stated, "let me go fix the silly boys' mistake." She took the vehicle for about 5 minutes and when she brought it back some of the scratches were gone but there were still scratches visible. When my daughter asked about the remaining scratches, it was stated that there were some that "were too deep." She was then told that they went ahead and did the scratch repair to the hood since they couldn't get the scratches out of the doors. She did not ask for the hood to be done, nor was she asked if that was acceptable. This was not what she asked to be done and did not agree to have this done since "the scratches around the doors were too deep." If the female could work on the door scratches and remove some of the scratches in 5 minutes, it stands to reason that if they had actually taken the time to do the job properly (or at all) that the $200 she paid for scratch removal may have proven cost effective. My daughter, at this point, had not even seen the interior of the car and the location was closing. Once she got in the vehicle, the seats had a protective plastic covering and she was told not to remove them for a while. The dash had dust on it, as if it hadn't been touched. There was visible debris on the carpet between the door and drivers seat as well as debris in the door handle pocket area. There is a greasy substance, even appears to be dripping down in areas, on parts of the dash which does not come off by wiping, and the back cargo area had not been cleaned or swept out. There are areas where it doesn't appear to have even been wiped down (particularly around doors). The seats now have a strange pattern of staining or discoloration on them and there are visible areas of white patches as well. You will even see a picture of the seatbelt buckles that weren't even cleaned. Returning the vehicle was not as option as the location was then closed. I called the location on Saturday to see if she could bring the vehicle back to have the situation rectified, as she did not work on Saturday. The location was closed on Saturday and Sunday. I called and spoke with Sebastian on Monday morning and he said "she can bring it back in to be touched up." My daughter works daily from 7am-6pm and dropping the vehicle off again and leaving it is not an option. Frankly, she should not have to take another day off of work, make arrangements for someone to pick her up and drop her back off, or be inconvenienced so that your employees can touch up their shoddy, lazy, and half-effort work. My husband and I have been customers at this location for over 20 years and have referred many family members and friends to this location as well. We live over an hour and 15 minutes from Bloomington, yet make the drive multiple times per year to have our vehicles serviced here. My husband requested a call from the owner, Jim. His request has not been answered. As you can imagine, we are extremely disappointed and unsatisfied with the experience our daughter had at the Bloomington location. She was charged $714.98 for a job that is clearly inadequate and unsatisfactory. I am including pictures for your reference and a picture of her receipt. Please reach out to me at 812-xxx-xxxx if I can be of any further assistance. Please advise on the next step to rectifying this situation. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Their only solution to the issue is to have her return the vehicle for a quick touch up. To complete the work which was paid for would take much longer than in and out so she doesn't have to drop off and leave the car.

And on the phone he sounded very dodgy and shaky my gut told me to just go somewhere else. But he assured me he could take good care of me and tint my vehicle. He told me to come by his house and give him the money (UP FRONT) which in itself sounded very sketchy. He stated that he needed the money to buy the film. Which was a complete utter lie. I trusted Greg because he was a old family friend of my aunt. Once I arrived at his house he kept going in circles telling me how hard it would be to tint my car and yadda yadda nonsense. He charged me $280 for what I thought would be the entire car but it turns out the sunroof is a accesory and not included (which he didn't state) he told me he would go buy the film because he "ran out". He said he'd call me that evening to tint my car he never called me back and I had to call/text him multiple times he sent me text messages complaining about how busy he was and something about his tooth. He said he'd come out to my house the next day 9/5/26 and I waited around at my house all day and even removed my stuff inside waiting for him to show. I texted him my address the night before and I waited all day until 6pm and told him to just give me back my money. He told me to give him one more day and I had a hair appt on sunday and din't have time to mess with him again. I called him at 7pm to see if he had my money and he said he could just come and do it on Sunday. 3 hours goes by and he shows up around 9pm and tinted the windows in the dark because he clearly wasn't wanting to give me my money back. He did such a terrible shoddy job, he kept saying how he's gonna take his time because his other job fell thru and acted like my car wasn't a priority. He kept cussing and saying how hard the back window is and I should give him a tip for coming and doing it EVEN after I paid him UPFRONT on 9/7/26 I woke up to go see the work in the daylight and there was bubbles EVERYWHERE and the cuts were AWFUL!! I called him right away and told him how bad it was in the daylight and he told me to come by his house. And he blamed his partner for the cleaning process which had NOTHING to do with the craftsmanship HE did. I do not blame his partner for NOTHING. I asked him for my money back again because it's gonna cost to remove this bad job and he showed me his phone and said he doesn't have the money and I'd have to wait on it so he said he'd come back again when he "finds the time" still after receiving the money all UP- FRONT. I told my family and they said that to just see if he'll refund it cause they don't want me to keep using there garage again and again. He said he'd give me back my $280 on 9/7/26 and he said he'd call me to meet up and he blocked me. His phone went straight to voicemail. I wouldn't recomend this tinter at all! He's the shadiest worst "business" owner I've seen and is VERY rough on the customers vehicles. He must've slammed my trunk hard at least 5 times! Stay away from Greg Hauk's window tinting. Waiting room was nice and people were as well, didn't have any complaints. Up until the "finished" product and there after... When I requested to see how dark the tint would be.. they told me to look at this little cube that had a light in it .. poor example. Once on the car.. they had this spray and liquid ALL. OVER. THE CAR. DOOR. Never have I seen poor quality in person I was aghast. Never have newbies practice on customer cars, go practice on personal cars. This spray was going down the door and looked terrible.. only for them to say if I approved of it lol - that it looked like you know what. Well they didn't clean that up. Then I took it home. -I- cleaned it up. The rear passenger window had a beautiful knick in it. From where someone let the seatbelt whip against it. For sure it wasn't me, I've got no kids, no pets and no one rides in the back. They tried to completely pin it on me. Saying it wasn't there upon them turning it in. Finally convinced them to fix it along with the little cargo window. Which also looked like you know what. (Free of charge cause there wasn't no way I was going to pay) At the end of the day, the one rear passenger window, they STILL left a seatbelt knick in it, probably out of spite, but it wasn't terrible and ghastly. The windows one cannot see directly have bubbles and they still do - despite them saying "they will dry out" - a month later in summer 90 degree heat. Check your final product! And the progress, if you will -absolutely- do any business here. They're very xclusive in washing their hands of fault. Just move on and find another one. Even if it involves driving a fish bowl for another week.
