We searched online and found this shop not far from our hotel. After calling and getting lost for the 7 minute ride (lol), we drove up with our service dogs in tow. The staff didn't even blink or give us a hard time about the animals. We really appreciated that! The salon was clean and open. It was very busy but they got to us and we didn't feel rushed. We both got a detox pedicure. I nearly fell asleep in the chair and my friend was humming! That's good work!!! Both dogs took naps! Happiness all around! The staff offered cold beverages and a menu of services. We felt pretty and pretty relaxed when we left. I highly recommend this business. Go looking for it. Judging from the amount of business, they are very popular. Judging from the service, they deserve it!!!

The Victorian home brings a fun vibe to the space and this is a great place to stop by if you are looking for some great self care gifts for yourself or others. I am certain I have found my go-to nail tech in town as Grace blew me away with the dip manicure she gave me. It has by far been my favorite set! If you're looking for a one stop shop salon I highly recommend booking with Jasmine.

I gave Da-Vi Nails two tries--once out of curiosity, the second time out of desperation--and…read moreregretted both. The first visit was frustrating: I had to repeatedly ask for my nails to be cut shorter, only to be told they "couldn't." My nails were roughed up so badly they're still damaged months later. The water for the pedicure was lukewarm, not relaxing, and I was told the whole service would take 45 minutes--it dragged on for over two hours. Cleanliness was questionable. I watched them rinse a bowl with water and reuse it--no soap, no sanitation. No gloves were worn, and the station had visible food crumbs. No work was done on calluses, and the polish was so poorly applied it had to be redone--still looked bad. It lifted within a day, both times. On my second (and final) visit, the process was quicker but no more professional. Again, I had to push for shorter nails. They didn't use cuticle cream or lotion--just started digging in with metal tools. My feet still looked dry afterward. The smell in the salon was awful--think stale cigarettes and old cheese. Overall, both visits were disappointing. Sloppy polish, lack of hygiene, and an unprofessional atmosphere. Definitely not worth the time or money.

My sister was basically done before they even started on me. I requested to have my dip taken off and new putt on. They left my hands in a bowl of HOT acetone for 25 minutes and had me take the dip of myself. Then got mad at me MULTIPLE times that I was not doing a good enough job. 3 different people worked in my nails while another nail tech there made fun of my name and how long my nails are. The vibes were terrible and everyone single person in there looked miserable. I tipped one of the workers 5$ on top of the 45$ charge. The owner got mad that I didn't tip the other works when in reality after the terrible hour and a half he was lucky I didn't walk out. If it was possible to give negative starts I would. The only plus about this place was that the music was good. The owner was very rude to his younger workers and treated the workers around him like crap. As for my nails some looked beautiful while some are so uneven and look sepereated. I asked multiple times for them to fix certain parts and to add the top coat which they forgot to do. They rolled their eyes and said it was fine. They cut my finger 4 times with the drill and one time actually drawing blood. I winced and said ouch and they told me I was fine and it didn't hurt and they kept rolling their eyes. This place is terrible. Run and never look back. 24 HR UPDATE: my fingers still hurt from the acetone and the dip has already chipped on my sisters nails.

This is a review of the makeup application service while in town for a wedding…read more The ease of scheduling an appointment, rolling out of the red carpet upon arrival and general hospitality is without a doubt four stars. My makeup however, was a one out of five stars and it is safe to say I would never circle back for another run. I asked prior to scheduling if the artist had experience applying makeup to all skin tones and was assured of same. The outcome was honestly the worst. So much so that I left the salon and was driven by the Mr. to a local store to buy makeup wipes. He went in to buy the makeup removal wipes to save me the embarrassment. He also blurted out when he first saw me, "OMG, it looks hideous. What happened!?". And he also said "I told you so". After the makeup was applied, I informed the MUA that it was unflattering IMO and she assured me the lighting made it difficult for me to see properly. She even tried to lighten it a little when I explained that it was not my shade. It reminded me of the makeup application of a 50 something year old deceased female more than 15 years ago when embalming fluid darkened the skin making the makeup and face of the loved one largely unrecognizable. I was seriously pre-1990 casket ready. Hahaha. I paid the full amount ($45) plus gratuity because the MUA did her best and she was very nice. Going forward, I would not schedule service without pictures of their work. That said, I would return for a massage or nail service. The friendliness of the staff members was everything I could ask for.

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Ariana was our friendly, attendant who guided us to the locker room equipped with a whirlpool, steam room, sauna, and experience showers. She got us acquainted with the locks on the lockers and provided us with slippers and robes. Towels were abundant and soft. We arrived an hour before our facials and enjoyed each of the areas feeling our stress diminish. We arrived later on a Saturday afternoon, so the areas weren't so crowded. Our aestheticians were Gail and Samantha and I can't tell you how kind and knowledgeable they were. Gail has been there for over 20 years which says something about the culture of the spa. At most spas, a facial includes a period when the serums have to rest on the skin. At those times, most aestheticians leave the room but here we were treated to a shoulder massage and arm treatment (depending on the facial you book). The whole experience was worth every penny. The actual service was in no way worth the cost. Everything about the resort is overpriced, but I was hopeful the treatment would be worth the expense. It wasn't. I much prefer Kohler for a staycation / wellness trip.
