But it was completely Lisa who made us feel so comfortable that looking natural came easy. Not only do we adore our photos, but we actually had a lot of fun taking the photos as well! Lisa had emailed me a few locations she had scouted, depending on the mood/look we wanted. I love that she put so much thought into it, and it made it that much more personal. When we were shooting, she was so much fun with her directing and commenting "so romantic!!" It made us laugh and feel at ease. We didn't have much of a budget (well none really) for printing, but Lisa made us feel so special and our CD was beautifully wrapped and hand-made and so lovely. She even did a few extra artistic photos on our CD which are gorgeous. Lisa is so talented. She is the photographer you want if you want to feel like yourself, and look like a natural. She barely took any pictures at the reception and was on her computer at a table for the time she was at the reception. We don't have any professional pictures of most of the reception, nor our last dance, and send off. She tried darkening some photos to make it seem like she stayed the whole time. Which was super shady. I contacted her boss and he refunded me not even half of the amount I paid for 8 hours of photography. Do not book with Kinsley. She is very unreliable. You are better off booking with another different company.

Christa took my graduation photos last week, and I absolutely love how they turned out. The session…read moreitself was great, she is very friendly and is really good at making you feel comfortable! She poses you, but gives you choices and control over how you want to look as well. She edits and sends pretty much all the photos that turn out well (I got sent 67) which is great because I know a lot of other photographers only edit and send you a few. During my session, we were unlucky and the campus was packed. I was really stressed and nervous about this, but she was great at making it work and choosing angles that blocked out everyone from view! Also, a few days before my session, I fell and scraped up my legs pretty bad. I was worried about how that would turn out, but she was able to make it disappear completely. I would recommend her to anyone! She is also amazingly quick about editing and getting the photos back to you. She promised me she would get them back to me within the week, and I received them 3 days later, despite the busy season (weddings and graduation photos).

We recently hired Christa for our engagement and wedding photographs. We received our engagement…read morephotographs and they were amazing! I would recommend Christa for only elopement or engagement photographs. It snowed on our wedding as we had wished for. The venue was outside due to the incredible backdrop the site had. We unfortunately didn't get a view of this because the photographs were white in the background. Christa blamed it on fog etc, but it's funny family members using their cell phones were able to capture the beautiful view. There was no instructions by Christa and the second photographer we had hired. It shows in the photos, because no one is captured looking forward as they walked to and from the ceremony. She did not capture the ring exchange either. Most of the ceremony pictures are from far away or from the side. I have never seen this before. Very disappointing! Prior to the ceremony, Christa and her Photgrapher showed up after we were all ready. I had given her our timeline weeks prior to the wedding. She also made the guys late to the ceremony site and when the lodge coordinators tried to tell her we needed to do the first touch, she became irritated and rolled her eyes. Our first touch was horrible! Again, no "look here" or do this. Showed when we received our photos. At the reception she used a flash indoors which caused a lot of bright white out photos. There were no bouquet photos taken either. We were completely disappointed. When hiring a photographer you trust them to capture your one in a life time memories. This was not the case. We have missed photos. We have a lot of cut off head photos and far away photos. We did not receive a lot of after ceremony photographs outside either. Was very rushed. I later learned from family members that Christa was complaining about how cold it was. This would explain the rush and not very many photos. I only post this because I want people to know what we experienced and not be disappointed like we were. She was not worth $4200.

From our first interview over Skype to the delivery of our final photos, Teresa was the perfect combination of professional and personable, and she did far more to help than just take photos. During planning, she offered timeline advice to ensure we had considered potential complications, and she was always transparent with her pricing. During the wedding itself, Teresa and her second photographer, John, were awesome. We had three events across a full 13 hour day, and Teresa's team took photos almost the entire time. More importantly, Teresa kept us motivated so we could look our best in the photos. The final photos were wonderfully composed, well-exposed, and vibrant. To say he does good work is an understatement. To put it simply, his work is stunning. His prices are always reasonable, especially for the quality and service you will receive. He returns your photos promptly, he is easy to contact and quick to respond. During the shoot, he is great at giving directions and makes you feel very comfortable. He has a skilled eye and works quickly and efficiently. After working with him twice in the past, I did not hesitate to hire him for my wedding - that mere fact is one of the highest compliments I can offer. As someone who planned a wedding without a coordinator, I am happy to say he was one of the easiest vendors I worked with. In addition, I don't think this man sat down once during my wedding. He worked even through our downtime, snapping photos of the guestbook and reception area. His photos were given back to us promptly (most on the same day!) and are so stunning that most of them did not need him to do editing at all. On the few we did ask him to edit, he returned to us within a week. My family and I have nothing but praises for Curtis and his work.
