So imagine my disappointment with the Country Road factory outlet at Harbour Town. Soooo disappointing. While I like nice things, I also love a bargain and when this shop originally opened at Harbour Town, I was there in a flash. It's not that there are no bargains to be had but I was just completely let down by the stock on offer. I had hoped I would find a Country Road shop just like all the others and with all the same stock - but cheaper. It wasn't to be I'm afraid. Am I naïve? Sorry Harbour Town this shop may carry the Country Road name but its just not Country Road to me.

I was wrong, this store has NOTHING worth buying, and it's not much of a bargain either. It's almost like all the stock from the other stores that didn't sell came here to die and hopefully find a sympathetic buyer. Thumbs down and a scowl on my face.

I've been living off dodgy $20 slippers purchased from cheap shoe stores. They don't last long, the…read moresole is thin and the fabric inside comes loose VERY easily. You have to walk in them carefully lest you cause damage sooner than expected. I normally go through a pair a year roughly, and buying slippers has become an annual ritual, one that I hate. Now Gadean provide specialty shoes, and while I don't have any foot problems that would require me to go out and buy custom footwear, it's much more comfortable having something tailored to your foot. Your foot is measured and care is taken to ensure the end result fits you like a glove... well a shoe... a glove on your foot would just be silly now, wouldn't it? I hope this pair of slippers last longer than all the others I've had. I'll let you know in a year!!

I…read moreremembered it as a place where staff could not be more helpful and were always able to supply me with a pair of comfortable shoes for my difficult feet.. But all had changed -- first of all the name which is now something like "Comfort footwear". When I managed to rouse the assistant (she was busy telephoning - I had to wait till she had finished) she showed no interest in me whatsoever, rather seemed to resent me for having interrupted her. I expected to have my feet measured and a selection of shoes produced which might suit them (as used to happen). Instead she just pointed to a selection which was displayed on a table at reduced prices and said "see anything you like?". When I asked about sizes she very reluctantly looked inside the shoe to find out. No advice at all was given on what might be suitable for my feet. I was extremely disappointed with the entire experience and definitely will not make the long trip out to 701 Burbridge Road to whatever it is called now to buy footwear.

Even though I secretly love the music shirts and like to pretend that I'm buying them for a friend and then go home and keep them for myself. This Ed Harry store is pretty awesome. There's a lot of stock, and a lot of discounts to be had. The staff are awesome. Whenever you go in the store, it's more than likely that you will see the guys dancing around, singing to the music and just chatting to one another loud enough for the customers to hear. You feel pretty chilled when you're inside and browsing the clothes. This store gets two thumbs up from me for their service and stock.

Does anyone actually understand that phrase 'filled to the brim'? I always say it but I don't really know where it came from. Anyway let's get back to the story before I start talking about catch phrases. If you're a fan of Brooks clothing and footwear then I would definitely suggest coming here. It's definitely a much better choice to come to the outlet store before going to a normal retail store because you know you're going to pay a lot less! I really do have a love for outlet stores, you can find things up to half price depending on where you go. The customer service has always been standard with a smile on the side. The smile sells it. Works like a charm. Everytime. Who wants to buy something from someone who looks miserable?

The Funkee Closet stocks kids clothing from newborn to sixteen, the sixteen was a recent addition as there was a cry for someone to stock at least some clothes for boys from 12 - 16 years of age. Poor boys always lose out in the fashion stakes, doesn't matter where you go it's either surf, skate or dork wear, not much option! And yes it's all designer wear from surfey Quicksilver, Mossimo to Soda Kids, Roxy and several in between...I didn't see OshKosh though but hey, can't have them all. And yes the prices are higher for name brands but some have the quality to last a long time and The Funkee Closet does have sales from time to time. On my visit there was twenty percent off but alas my stubborn child had no interest on this day, Xbox was calling at home and the sooner the better in his view. For sale also were hats, caps, some shoes, accesories, bags, etc. Driving past you can't miss it as it's hot pink exterior is loud and clear, inside are floor boards, lots of pink for the girly girls and a more subdued colour palate for boysey boy wear too, loved the two mandatory shop fitting black chiffon style hanging chandeliers. The staff were friendly and very helpful and with several customers they still managed to touch base with everyone. Great stuff girls!

This is why I have a feeling it could be a new store, or I've just never paid attention to it. This place is cheap! When I went I don't think I saw anything over $10 (but don't quote me on that). They sell handbags, jewellery, head accessories, sunglasses, and well, accessories. Hence the title. If you're looking for cheap accessories I'd give this place a whirl. There's a lot to choose from considering it's just a stall in the middle of Harbour Town.

When daughter approached the cashier no you gave me a 5.00 note. The person with me working in the retail field is to take the person name and phone number and at the end of the day if the till is 5.00 more they ring the person to say sorry we have 5.00 in the till over. They were rather rude to my daughter. If i was there i would of gone in and approached them myself.

There's usuay a rack of clothes for under $5 as well. Last time I went there I found a Marilyn Monroe tank top for only $1. What a find!
