Worst retail experience I have ever had!!
I have never even been in one of these stores and needless to say will never again. My Husband went in yesterday and bought 2 pairs of leggings that did not fit well on me. Went in less than 24hrs later to ask for a refund as we did not want the leggings. We were told right away there are no refunds.. which is total rubbish considering the clothes had tags.. we not used and still in the bag. We were told we could only get an exchange.. which I did not want as I did not feel comfortable shopping in that store. I'm not a big girl by any means, but the clothes just didnt suit my body type. I was told its "just how it is" by the girl behind the counter. Upon trying on 2 more paisr of leggings.. differnt styles.. they too did not suit. While in the change room, the girl said "hows it going", to which I answered "meh, not so great". Without even asking why, she just said "maybe you should just get a shirt". Now discouraged and feeling insulted, i left the change room to look for "just a shirt". While looking, one of the 2 girls in the store came up to me and said "just so you know, we have some.. "other" sizes in the back". WOW!! Thank you for straight up telling me, 'you arent going to fit into anything'. Feeling absolutely awful about myself at this point, i grabbed the nearest shirt and took it to the till as at this point i wanted to cry and just wanted to get the hell out. While the girl started the exchange, she then let another customer cut in front of us in line, put our items down, and then said " im going to help this person first since yours will take longer".. sure.. I have nothing else to do with my day. Once the change was finally made I left the store feeling like a fat cow. I have recently lost quite a bit of weight and am doing and 11km fun run tomorrow as was one of my fitness goals. I wanted to treat myself to some nice work out gear. This has ruined my day. I feel so discouraged, any confidence I may have had has been ripped away and I feel so fat I wont let my husband touch me. Your employees clearly need a lesson on how to speak to people that aren't a size 4 or under. Unbelievably disrespectful read more
