This place is legit! I've been to a million chiros and wellness places with little to no real results ... Then I came here. Been going to Bloch for about a year now and their service, treatment and forward thinking philosophy has done me a world of good. I've been worked on by several of the docs - Bloch, McMichael etc.... All with great results. I always look forward to a session with their percussion thing (AWESOME!!!) and Diane has worked her magic with M.A.T (Muscle Activation Technique). Collectively they have produced some solid long term pain relief for me. Most recently I suffered a rib injury. Along with some soft tissue work, Doc Bloch put me into their new cryosonic chamber. I have been going here for the last month after I got rear-ended. What I like about this place is that it is modern and uses current and updated technology to get the best results possible. As a former professional athlete, I am picky about who I go to for rehabilitation and diagnosis. Suffice to say I am super pleased with the service, attention to detail, experience and breadth of offerings (you can do chiro, cryotherapy, infrared sauna, etc...). I came in barely able to move my neck due to whiplash and a month later I have seen great improvement. I can't even begin to start with how AMAZING Dr. Neally is. She was recommended to me by one of my customers for my newborn son. Through chiropractic she helped fix his torticollis in his neck which in turn drastically improved his sleep. I'm honestly quite confused as to why everyone raves about this place. Granted, they do have wonderful equipment and a clean facility, the way the doctor is and the way I was treated was very strange. The front desk ladies were wonderful and were extremely helpful. But... I had an initial appointment that was an hour long for $160. In that amount of time a specific doctor, who was apparently new, attempted but couldn't align me, gave me a slight massage and talked to me. It wasn't conclusive, as soon as the hour was over I was sent to wait for an aid to do about 5 min of a therapy technique and then I was sent home. No follow up instructions or anything. I was just sent home and very confused as to what to do next. Lastly, during my entire experience in this office, I made eye contact about 6 times with the main doctor, Dr. Bloch, and not once did she acknowledge me or introduce herself. The whole experience felt very unprofessional, not very thorough and almost as if they didn't really care. read more

When I had ACL surgery, I went to Dr. Bloch back when she was in a one room office behind a gym. I went in her hyperbaric chamber a few times to help with the healing. I was running in 3 months and my knee is great! My daughter has been playing water polo year 'round since she was 10 years old. When she started getting knee pain her Freshman year in high school, I sent her to Dr. Bloch in the new office. Dr. Bloch worked on my daughter to loosen her hips and break down her muscles so she could move better. Dr Bloch now keeps my daughter healthy and prepared for her demanding sport. Not only is Dr. Bloch knowledgeable and an expert in her field, she is personable and truly caring. Both my daughter and I have also seen other doctors in the office and they're all great! After going to an unnamed chiropractor for almost 4 YEARS with no improvement to my never ending back and sciatic pain, I was skeptical. After 3 WEEKS of seeing Dr. Bloch and Dr. Beltran, I am pain free. I am a collegiate athlete (21 y.o.) and have had to modify practices, workouts, and lifts to avoid any further pain, but I am now able to practice and play like normal! They were also able to diagnose exactly what was wrong with me after referring me to get an MRI, while my first chiropractor never did anything to that extent (I'm assuming they wanted to just keep me coming for the $35 co-payment). With the help of adjustments, spinal decomp, percussion therapy, and some extra work at home, I feel like a brand new human being which was something I never thought was possible. First, let me start by saying I've been using chiropractic for over 30 years and I have NEVER had the kind of treatment I get at Bloch Wellness and specifically with Dr Marco Ruvalcaba. Most chiros would come in, do a quick adjustment and be on their way. Dr Marco spends an entire 30 minutes, using techniques and modalities that no other chiropractor has tried on me, and they WORK! I've been to at least 12 different chiropractic offices before I found Bloch Wellness. All their staff are amazing and so sweet. I have seen ever doctor and they are all miracle workers, I swear. I recommend everyone to see them. I have had so many issues since having kids and I am actually improving finally! They do 80% soft tissue work and functional movement techniques and adjustments after. I've been to so many chiropractor that do the same three things and your out in 10 mins. They take their time working on soft tissue and release before adjusting. Then they have different movements you can do during the week to continue the progress! Disclaimer: this review is only for the ART component. From my understanding, Dr. Bloch is the one that's ART certified, but not Drs. McMichael and Yeakel. Per front desk staff, Drs McMichael and Yeakel were taught ART techniques by Dr. Bloch, but aren't actually certified. I ended up going to another ART certified chiropractor who was able to identify the root cause of my pain and recommend specific exercises for my recovery. Whereas I feel that Drs McMichael and Yeakel were only treating the symptoms providing relief temporarily. I would feel better after their treatments, but after a few visits I realized they didn't have the ART knowledge base to diagnose the underlying cause of my pain. I found both of them though to be professional and amiable. Other staff members were polite and accommodating as well. Office/treatment areas are spacious and clean with prime location in Long Beach. I found their software refreshingly modern for the check in process was captured electronically using a touch-pad and email reminders for upcoming appointments. Impressive range of treatment modalities that I haven't seen with smaller chiro practices. read more

I've been coming to Dr. Bloch since September 2015, and I feel amazing. All her doctors and the staff are great! I had been suffering from severe shoulder pain for years. I finally went to an orthopedic and told me I had calcium deposit in my joints that cause pinch nerves he said it was strange growth). Over time I developed the same on my hip. I got conservative treat which was pills and cortisone shots. After two years, he could not continue giving the shots. He suggested surgery. I was not looking forward to that recover and inconvenience to my family. I finally decided to see Dr. Bloch, gave her my ex-rays and told her my concerns. She said she can possibly break down the calcium deposit but would need few sessions. I agreed and began my treatment. Seven months later I noticed the pain was gone completely. I continue to go and now I see Dr. Torres who is working on my neck area and sometimes hands, since sitting and working on a computer is causing me to suffer pain. Maintenance of the body is so important to continue to have a healthy and quality of life. I can proudly say, Dr. Bloch Chiropractic, is the place to go. I highly recommend it! read more
