AAA wasn't able to replace the battery. A local tire store could not do the replacement until Tuesday. Another tire store told me I would need to wait 4-5 hours to be worked in. Advance Auto could not do the replacement as it would take too long. They did recommend Appalachian Auto Repair. They were able to fit me in right away and the price was reasonable. They were also much cheaper than the price quoted by another shop. Also, their shop is the cleanest I have ever seen.

I purchased my first ATV ever from this company. They have a very small lot in the city of…read moreCharleston so I was never able to test ride the ATV. They did their pre-test checkup and completely missed the clutch rattling noise I've been dealing with since I brought it home. I live 1.5hrs from them, so a quick visit to have it checked out isn't possible. Jon, the salesman, has been my main contact through all of this and since I bought this base model Can-am outlander for a final price of about $9200, he seems unwilling to want to address this issue by asking his techs or others about the problem. Instead he referred me to his lead technician Shawn, who has yet to reply to my email and always is unavailable when I call. When I finally talked to him, he acted like he's never heard of this issue, when a simple search on youtube finds videos showing this problem. I even sent those videos to Jon who claimed to have showed Shawn, yet I've received no more replies. When Jon does reply, it's only like one sentence, which tells me he no longer wishes this to be a problem for him. I am very disappointed in the response to this issue. They wanted me to drive it back and drop it off. I don't have the time to do that due to the distance. I bought from them because they had the only model I wanted in stock at the time. I would think spending over 9k on my first ATV ever would merit a better response to my issue with it from DAY ONE! From my perspective, they have washed their hands of me and have no desire to even find out what the issue is by asking other dealers or technicians so I can try and pinpoint the problem without having my ATV sitting in a shop for weeks on end waiting for parts. I bought it because I need to use it. I am highly disappointed in them and Can-Am so far. The problem is the primary clutch rattles like a bad catalytic converter or heat shield falling off when it's cold or under strain like climbing a hill, as well as majority of speed under 10mph. The sound IS AWFUL and embarrassing. I even asked about aftermarket headlight options since the lame halogens that come with it aren't very bright. Jon sent me a link to a company I had already checked out and never bothered asking around his coworkers who deal with this product day in and out. In conclusion, they are just lazy there when it comes to customer complaints or questions about their ATVs. To anyone wishing to purchase from them, just know that once you buy, you're 'dust in the wind'.

Mike (i think) and his wife said to bring it up and they woild see what they could do. Had my bike fixed (despite a large backlog of work) im 2 days and it runs like a top. So glad to see some.new faces in WV that actualy care about the little guys and go the extra mile to make things happen...more than reasonable on price and ill be bringing all my ATVs here for service since they are easily half the price of my polaria dealer in TN.. I purchased a new 2023 Kawasaki Vulcan voyager 1700 motorcycle from them on 2/02/2024. On…read more12/17/2025 I took the MC in for warranty repairs. It had a visible antifreeze leak between the cylinders. Also, the shift indicator on the dash was showing incorrect position of the gears and sometimes a delayed indication of what gear you were in while traveling. At times it would work find. I left the mc with them and ask to be notified when they made the repairs. On or about 12/28/2025 I called and ask for an update. I was told they had cleaned the antifreeze off the cylinders and was watching for it to return. And they hadn't test driven it yet for the shift indicator problem. On 2/17/2026 I called for an update and was told the repairs were complete, but the tech was out of town for training and wouldn't be back until the following week. He wanted to test drive the mc to make sure the repairs were fixed. I suggested that I would come up and test drive and if the repairs corrected the problem, I would bring the mc home, if not I would leave it there so the tech could follow up. I was told by the service associate Matt that he would call me right back. I received a call from M.S Lowe the other service associate that there had not been any repairs make to the mc. The tech had only done a meter readout on the shift indicator problem and confirmed with Kawasaki that the meter readings were correct. I told M.S. Lowe I would come and get the mc, I believe after TWO MONTHS it was time for me to try something different. I stopped and discussed this matter with GM Bobby Baldridge before leaving. I was hoping he would offer a positive resolution. To my surprise he showed very little interest and didn't offer to correct the problem in any fashion. My conclusion on this matter. BUYERS BEWARE; THERE IS NO INTEREST IN PROVIDING YOU WITH A CORRTION TO A PROBLEM WITH YOUR MACHINE. I BASE THIS CONCLUSION ON HOW I WAS TREATED. GOOD LUCK TO OTHER BUYERS

They have some great clothing and some beautiful inventory for your two- wheeled needs. As usual, restroom facilities were spotless. It's how you end up with a selection of HD clothing: each restroom stop one of you finds something you cannot live without! And actually that's how friends of ours wound up with a new bike. Gotta be careful, sometimes those beautiful bikes grab you!
