I came here for a baptism event over the weekend. They rented out the large pavilion which has plenty of picnic tables. The bathrooms were open and clean. The soap situation was a bit odd as it was just a gigantic refill bottle you had to turn upside down. Not sure if that was from the church or if it was brought in by someone or if that's just how they do soap here. Either way, a little gross. Plenty of lifeguards were around and they had a roped off section for swimming but you could swim outside it as well. You could rent paddle boards too. I did not but the option was there. Parking was easy, not a long walk to the beach but no pavement until you're out of the parking lot. Wheelchair users beware! Get dropped off at the entrance. There's also a huge playground off to the side. As a woman in her 30s, it looked like a lot of fun over there. It's huge. Would I come here as a non resident and pay $30? No, but if I'm invited by a local, absolutely! read more
