This was for an older rocking chair and ottoman that needed some minor repairs, paint and cushions repolstered. I planned on repairing and painting myself. So just the upholstery was needed. Other companies were quoting around $1000 for paint and repair, no mention of the upholstery. Another was $800 site unseen. Really? Ben quoted less than 1/2 after looking at the cushions and measuring them, he came with a bazillion fabric samples ready to go! He was very nice and answered all of my questions. Yes, this is a smaller job, but I didn't feel any less important. All told, took about 3 weeks and that was with a glitch with the fabric! Additionally, one of the blinds installed does not properly save its memory limit, and despite reaching out several months ago, I have yet to receive a response or resolution. If the customer service were as exceptional as the installation, I'd happily give 10 stars instead of 3.

He told us it would be about 8-9 weeks and sure enough he called about that time to set-up the installation. The shutters are really make the house "pop" inside. Great quality product at a fair price. We are considering doing another four of our windows that are 20+ feet up and allow light into our foyer. He suggested a solar powered motorized option, that really isn't horribly expensive. But kiddos need new soccer shoes ... :-) Have to think about whether we want to do that or not, but great out of the box solution offered by Pate. I recommend these folks. They are top notch
