The only thing i didnt like was there is barely any shelter so whilst you are waiting for your train you can get soaked it defiately needs more shelter, the over pass in the station also lets a lot of rain in as the floor is soaked when we have bad weather, The train sevice is pretty good the clenliness of the trains is sometimes a bit grim but theyre not too shabby. This station is very easy to navigate with a whole flock of taxis waiting outside ready to take you where you need to go. They also have a ton of bus stops here for travel. Outside the station are all sorts of convenience stores, hotels and there is even a skateboarding park just about a block away. It's very convenient to walk to from my company apartment (about a 15 minute walk) so was super convenient during my time in MK to get to London.

There's a small waiting room with ticket office and coffee bar with friendly staff and excellent bacon butties! There is a toilet accessible from outside the waiting room. Quite a hike over the line and onto the London-bound platform, and a cold wind blows in over the fields - but there is a shelter. The advantage is that Chiltern Trains are one of the most reliable train operators, and - outside of peak rush hour - comfortable to travel on. They go into London Marylebone. You can also travel quickly to Birmingham from this station. It isn't that cheap - around £18 for a single into London out of rush hour - but the reliability makes it worth while if you're travelling on business.

Fair point, I'm from South London, but if I want to get a cheap flight to East or Central Europe then Luton is the only way to go. So, first things first. This station is always staffed unless there is no trains and they love to make sure you pay for your ride, so buy a ticket in advance as there is barriers and ticket inceptors who dont like those on a free ride. The station is called PARKWAY because you will need a shuttle bus to get to and from the airport. These go every 15 minutes and take about 10 minutes, so allow that into your journey and don't miss your plane. Getting here is possible from the Midlands on trains to London from Derby/Nottingham/Leciseter on First trains or from the old Thameslink line from Brighton via Gatwick, Sutton via Herne Hill and Wimbledon or central london stations like Kings Cross, Blackfriers and St Paul Thameslink as well as places like West Hampstead and Kentish town for links to the tube, so you can get home but it takes about an hour. The station has good toilet and waiting room facilities but trynot to wait on the platform as the wind wips up and it can be bitterly cold waiting there. May I suggest the waiting room area on the first floor above the entrance/exit for the shuttle bus?

It was less expensive to travel to our hotel this way as compared to using a taxi , bus, or other means of transportation. It was smooth trip that took about 30 minutes.
