Showed up and was told I'm not allowed to make an appointment online because I had a Groupon. Double checked my Groupon before I left. Nowhere does it say this. A phone call would have been nice.

She offered suggestions for my skincare and listened to my concerns. I had an area that particularly bothered me and she spent a generous amount of time working on it. My skin felt better after each time. There was no pressure to return even though she made it clear by explanation and by the differences I immediately noticed with my skin that it would be beneficial. The salon is tucked in the corner of a small plaza in Wentzville. The decor was calming. If I have funds, I will return. Lauren gave me several product references that are not sold in her shop, was informative about the local dining and was not annoyed that I was late the first time. I was pretty late and she said she might have to cut me a little short but still my skin felt great when I left, because of the technique she used. Try this place out.

I can't use the oil because it breaks me out down there, so the lady said she could only use alcohol to get the left over wax off, freshly waxed she started to scrub my and pick at my skin!! Yall I was HOLLERING telling her it burns and I started to tear up because i was in so much pain. Then she sat there and said she couldn't get the wax off so I just had to go home and take a shower to wash it off. On top of that I kept telling my lady that the wax was too hot and it was burning my skin, did she stop? No. She said "it's wax, it's going to be hot" I now have bruises, open skin, and rashes from how hot the wax was. NEVER again will I recommend this place or go here. When I came out the room I told the front desk lady that it was a horrid experience and what happened. She just said I'm sorry your total is $58 and some change. I paid and left. Called back up there to ask for a refund, and was told to send pictures of what happened. I did and then was told a manager would call me. That never happened. I had to call back again to ask if someone was going to speak with me. Got told the manager told front desk they can only do 25% refund which came out to $12.87. YOURE JOKING. Not to mention but she wiped my entire area w alcohol so EVERYTHING was burning. I never have issues with a Brazilian and this wasn't my first time getting one. YALL BE SAFE!!

Avoid this place at all cost…read more refuse to go back. The owner is not honest and changes her policy on a whim to fit her needs, and then hides behind a contract she doesn't have you sign. She told me she couldn't wax me in my cycle due to Covid reasons. I was using a tampon, not free-bleeding. I posted a review here and on Groupon where I got a deal for this location. I was new to the area at the time (and still am). She followed up to my Groupon review and flat out lied, saying this is a policy "everyone knows about". Obviously they don't if this was an issue. It wasn't for Covid reasons, it's because she just didn't want to. In my 10+ years of being waxed all over this country, she is the only person who won't wax on cycle. I have no love loss, and Groupon refunded me the two unused sessions I could not use because they found her actions to be egregious and out of line with the policies she has listed on her Groupon T&Cs. On top of all of these things, the place is unkempt; boxes of random stuff lining the walls, half-filled and dirty display cabinet of random stuff (jewelry, purses, etc) she sells as a side business to her salon. The door to the waxing area is broken, and she had a small child who hangs outside the room while she is working. Do better, ma'am.
