BE AWARE. If you don't want to waste your vacation and your money DO NOT BOOK with Tony or Blessed tours. We were referred by a family friend that knew Tony when he owned a restaurant but didn't know much about his tours. Our goal was to have tony take us to a couple tours and drive us around during our vacation. His price was reasonable but he would not give us a contract or even a email with what was included. We tried and tried to make sure he knew exactly what we wanted and his exact words were "don't worry I will take care of you". He did confirm with a text that said" I have the best vehicles on the island. Because you're referred by family, as your family, I will be available for you for the entire 6 days. Private tours, activities and transportation are included. Including airport pickup and drop off". In our text we stated how we wanted most importantly, Bio bay tour, El yunque waterslide and rainforest hike, zip line, meals, entertainment. He said that we had to book the Bio bay tour and he would take care of the rest. The trip started off good with transportation but the van he picked us up in was very used and felt like it was ready to die. The first day was a later than anticipated start (10am) because he said that they needed to get the van ready. This forced us to make breakfast at our condo and then we went to the beach for a couple hours before the zip line tour. At the beach Tony locked his keys in the car and we wasted a hour trying to unlock the van with our beach stuff inside. We then went to the zip line and was dropped off down the hill from the venue and had to hike up the hill to the place. Zip line was fun and after we went to lunch at a nice place on the water. I offered to buy lunch for Tony and we ordered. He didn't show up to the table and said he needed to go get gas and would be back. He returned only after we were done and asked me to box up his meal. He then returned us to our place and made it clear that we were done for the day, even when we wanted to get a dinner or desert after. This was the best day it only got worse. Second day he called saying that he had another tour and was going to have Jolle his secretary drive us around. We asked if we could get a ride to a place to get breakfast and she showed up at 9am. It was obvious that Jolle didn't know how to tour because she had no suggestions for breakfast. At breakfast we talked about the tour and she didn't know what we were doing. I texted tony to find out what was happening and he said he would call her and explain. She drove up the road to El Yunque and was turned around because they needed a permit. I tried to get out and she keep driving which I thought was weird but she explained that they just changed the process last week. I later found out that other people that booked the El yunque tour with them had the same issues of lies and disappointment. That night for dinner tony show up in a new escalade and took us to a restaurant of my choice which he was upset because it took so long. On return to the house tony said he needed more money. I was very angry because we had a worthless day and he was asking for more money knowing that we had 4 more days and he was our trip to the airport. I told him that his tours needed to get better and were under whelming compared to what he promised. The next day we did have a good drive through San Juan seeing sights and shopping but it was also the day we were going to snorkel in San Juan. Tony only planned one hour to snorkel because he said we needed to beat the traffic. We hurried out of town and drove back. We did stop for a late lunch and with his suggestion we tried to get tickets to El Culebra. We drove 2 hours out of our way to get ticket to find out that there were no tickets back. The next 2 days even got worse. Tony said he had another tour and so we walked to the beach and he said he would pick us up. He ended up not showing up until after dinner so I had decided to get a rental for the last day so we didn't have to rely on him not showing up. Even with the rental he said he had a better place to go but it ended up being closed so we had to wait for the next day to get a car. I even had to get an uber to get to the car rental.
It is clear that tony is a liar and a swindler. At the airport after we were dropped off I confronted him and told him of my dissatisfaction. I told him that I felt 3 days were lost but he did respond that he knows one day was wasted but not three. The fact that he even admitted to one day that he wasted of ours shows he knew he did wrong. I offered him to make it right by giving me back the extra money I gave him but I have not heard from him since after multiple attempts. I am quick to forgive and give people a second chance but obviously Tony's lack or response shows he does not want to make it right.
