What began as a small group of women selling baby clothes from a card table after church has grown into two thrift stores offering clothing, glassware, home décor, linens, books, records, DVDs, collectibles, small appliances, and holiday decorations. The thrift stores provide affordable shopping for the community, while the proceeds support the church's outreach ministries and local missions. They also partner with other community charities by sharing donated items with organizations in need. This thrift store was much larger inside than it first appeared with several rooms to explore, On the day I visited, all furniture was 50% off, and clothing was just $3 per item, with many marked down even further. I ended up finding a few pieces to take home. What I loved most about this thrift store was its charitable spirit. Near the front entrance, they have a community food pantry where anyone can leave nonperishable food items or take what they need. This is such a caring gesture for the community.

Everything was by size, all the clothing in aisles. The book area could be a little more organized as they have a bookshelf that goes into the wall where you can't see a quarter of the books, but I found what I was looking for. There's a lot of nice stuff for good money. I got a few things that I was happy about. They had some really beautiful furniture pieces that were at good value. All I can say is that the customer service needs to be upgraded. Everyone was yelling back-and-forth for something. The people running the front were yelling at the people at the back to get a bike and it really was a little offputting. The lady running the front did apologize for the noise. I will give this a thumbs up as a place looks great.

The people there - staff and customers alike - were so kind. The man in front of me even paid for my items because he saw the LSAT study book I found and wished me good luck! This store does have a card minimum of $10 to keep in mind when you're browsing. There were a few shoppers that were disappointed when they reached the front of the line with a $3 purchase and no cash. The staff also said they prefer not to just round these small purchases up, even under the guise of a donation. The areas that stuck out the most were the many shoe racks and the children's section. There was also specific shelves for glassware, books, clothing, furniture, electronics, luggage, and miscellaneous. If I ever find myself back in the area, I'll definitely be stopping by to check out new inventory!

If I was a much younger man just starting out in life and had to rebuild from ground up, than I would be shopping at thrift stores like Molly Mutt all the time. They have just about everything you need at a very affordable price. They have tons clothing and shoes; a variety of appliances, cooking utensils, and silverware; electronics, DVD's, CD's, VHS; hair care items such as irons, curlers, hair dryers; loads of books, trinkets, holiday decorations, knick knacks, and so much more. The one thing they do not have is a restroom for customers, so this cut our time here short. Alternatively, they do have a changing room so you can try on before you buy, unlike many thrift stores we have been to in the last few days. Today, I purchased a music book for piano filled with Christmas songs. The book looks like it has never been opened and is in like new condition inside and out, minus the rusted staples in the binding. I only paid .58 cents which is a huge bargain when comparing to my last few music book purchases at other thrift stores over the last couple days. All in all, it was a great stop and worth the visit, just know that there is no public restroom available so take care of business before you arrive.

It just says something about supporting the local community -- which was fairly vague. In any case, it has a bit of this and that. But frankly without much personality. I can see that they're getting more and more selective about what they put out on the sales floor, and I deeply appreciate that!!! Coming from someone who has shopped at EVERY SINGLE THRIFT STORE IN NEW YORK CITY, this place tops them all by far. The prices are outstanding, and the selection is impeccable! There seems to be a sale every day! I love the wooden nickel idea (both for the community, and for the customers). Half of my wardrobe came from here this year. I seem to luck out every time I go. I've purchased several name brand items including: GAP, Pink, Hollister, American Eagle, Calvin Klein, etc. Conditions of clothing range from good to new. Rarely have I ever spotted an item that's just "acceptable". I purchased 4 fall/winter jackets for myself and my husband last week (on half price clothing day), and paid less than $20 For all 4!!! AMAZING!!! THEY WERE ALL IN SUPERB CONDITION!!! The staff here is the best in the area. This shop seems to have evolved in so many ways recently. I'm so pleased with it's turned into. Even their window displays are cute, and were designed with a lot of thought. I myself am an artist, and can pick up on the vibes that there are employees here with clever eyes for design and organization. You can find higher end items in their little boutique area (front left) along with kitchenware, clothing, shoes, home goods, furniture (including full framed beds), and several books to chose from!!! I'm so happy to support local community shops like this one. It's very clean and tidy here. I will most definitely be back!!!

Since I only had a debit card I had to round up a dollar to make it at least a $5 purchase per their card company says it they get charged...so 8 pieces of clothing for $5.00. Not too shabby.

Eau Gallie was once it's own town but now it is part of the northern section of Melbourne. Run by volunteers, the store is currently open on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10am - 4pm. This is a really old school thrift store. They only take cash and checks from local residents as payment. You can however keep up with them on Facebook. The thrift store is a main room with two smaller side rooms. In the large room is clothing, accessories, and some household items. They had some children's Halloween costumes. The side rooms hold crafts, party items. household goods including a lot of china, and bric-a-brac. Prices are inexpensive. A beautiful punch bowl set that would be perfect for any shower was only $15. A visit here is like a trip back in time. From the creaky floors to the vintage items they sell to their old fashioned payment policy of not accepting credit cards, this store is like something out of the past. I was completely charmed by all of it. Stop by if you find yourself in downtown Eau Gallie.
