I've been going to Billy's for the better part of 2 years now, and I have been satisfied every time…read morewith my haircut. Both Billy and Shannon do an excellent job. It does have an "old school" feel to it as some other people have mentioned on yelp, and I sincerely think they do a good job pulling it off. Every time I go I don't have to say anything besides "the usual" and Billy will know what to do. Haircuts are very reasonably priced at $19 for a men's haircut, and includes a nice warm shave for the sideburns and upper neck. The two are always pleasant, always lively, and always professional. I would highly recommend Billy G's over any of the chain stores popping up nearby that cycle through new barbers every other month. Note: they're constantly busy, so it would be best to make a reservation. Even with a reservation sometimes you might have to wait 10-15 minutes, but the quality is certainly worth it.

Matthew is a charismatic, passionate, knowledgeable, and talented stylist. I had gotten a poor…read morehaircut while on vacation and needed someone to fix it. In addition to that, my hairline is starting to recede and the hair on the crown of my head is thinning. Matthew was able to not only fix the last stylist's errors, but give me the best haircut I received since noticing my hair composition changing. My only regret is not booking Matthew sooner. I need to pass several barbershops/salons en route to Matthew. As far as I'm concerned, that's a small price to pay to get my hair styled by someone of his caliber. You'll also need to book him in advance. I am currently looking at appointments a week away. While not ideal, it shows that I am not alone in recognizing his talent. You won't regret visiting him. Note: I keep my hair on the shorter side and can't speak to his ability to cut long hair.

Donna is simply the best barber in the area!…read more I had long looked for a good barber in the Clinton/Flemington area, and I tried them all. Most were OK, a couple were good, but Donna was GREAT! She quickly understood the kind of haircut I wanted and did it just right from day one. Besides asking how I wanted each part of my haircut done, I much appreciated the options and ideas she would offer as we went. The end result was that she turned the haircut I asked for into the haircut I truly wanted. She just "gets" how to cut men's hair. And beards! I was also delighted to find that she was very experienced and skilled with trimming beards. Just like my haircut, she "gets" how to trim my beard to make it look its best. On top of getting a great haircut/beard trim, Donna is delightful and I also enjoy look forward to our visits. If you are reading this review then trust me - you have found your barber! I cannot recommend Donna highly enough!

She really took the time to do it right and was super thorough. And she offered to clean it up in 2 weeks time, so my cut will last even longer. Soo used to work at 18/8 men's salon at Marketfair and has brought some of the same relaxing touches with her. Her salon is comfortable and cozy, and very conveniently located. (great sandwhich shop right next door). Soo is prompt and easy to schedule with at a convenient time. In my experience, she is also highly skilled at her craft, and a pleasant person to talk with. My haircut and neck shave came to $45. While not cheap, I nonetheless found it a good value given the time she spent to learn how I like my hair and to clean up my look with great care, as well as her offer to do a refresh to extend the life of my cut in 2 weeks. Plus the hot neck massage and scalp massage. I definitely left relaxed. Highly recommended.
