The avocado toast comes with their salsa macha, which I enjoyed but could be a bit much if you're not into spice. The turmeric coffee was earthy and glad I tried it but I needed more caffeine so I ordered the iced agave latte which helped and was refreshing too! We ate in the courtyard which was cute but the chairs were hella uncomfortable. Despite that, would highly recommend! Typical to my experience in Oaxaca, there's no rush to turn tables, so we waited a bit for the check but the lesson learned there is to ask for the check when they pick up your plates if you don't plan on lollygagging.

The shakshuka base was more of a soup than a sauce and its flavor was decent. We asked for the sandwich without olives but it still had some in there but it was fine. For drinks the flat white ($65) and americano ($45) were okay. It's more peaceful and not as busy if that's the vibe you're looking for. If you want another place to relax you can head through the door at the back of the cafe to the lobby of the hotel. The coffee is really good and is from a local coffee plantation. My favourite drink here is the water mango smoothie, so delicious on a warm day. There are loads of different desserts and they also offer salads, sandwiches and baguettes. My favourite dessert or just a nice snack with my coffee or smoothie are the oats cookies, the Nutella muffins are also delicious.
