There are only things to love about staying at Blarney Vale with Anne and Ray. They open their wonderful and comfortable home with generosity of spirit, a solid Irish welcome, and a proper cup of morning tea (Barry's tea!). They were a complete delight and certainly gifted with gab.
The location is near-to-perfect. Just steps from the driveway, you can hop on the bus to take you into Cork, if that's your pleasure. Or a 5 minute walk will take you into town, where there's a pub with delicious food and camaraderie. You also can shop at the Blarney Woolen Mills, which is a massive maze of woolens, silks, food items, household items and other gifts or head to the Blarney Castle.
I would more than happily stay at Blarney Vale again and wholeheartedly recommend that you consider them too.
One item of note is there are interior stairs that take you up to the guest rooms, so just be aware if your party has any limited mobility. read more
