Too far to walk this morning round trip. I booked an Uber...it was taking forever and eventually I got the message that drivers were BUSY try later. It's a SMALL TOWN. (:-) SOOOO Holiday Market DELI to the rescue. They make subs to order on several breads. It's a similar system to Subway EXCEPT HERE at Holiday they are NOT stingy with black olives and other goodies. They even have GOOD SPROUTS. We arrived at peak lunch and there were only 2 people ahead of us. OUR SANDWICHES WERE EXCELLENT and BIG. My husband ate all of his but I only had room for half. This was our first meal of the day and we were very hungry. Sandwiches come with free drinks. It was $18 for both of us. The market seems to deserve its great reviews. My compliments to management for hiring friendly employees and encouraging them to give off a HAPPY VIBE. Aisles are wide. It feels great in the store. It's clean. The whole market gives off a higher end market impression. Very pleasant. And some YUMMY GOODIES if you just need snacks. If management wanted to add one simple thing for us Tesla shoppers eating from the Deli, it would be a couple picnic tables with colorful umbrellas outside along the wall we walk back to the chargers. That would be pretty nice so we wouldn't need to eat in our cars. (:-) But even without it's an awesome Tesla charging stop. If you find this review useful please VOTE!

This store is small, it is a bit sad even, one could certainly hope it one day gets a major upgrade that this town clearly needs. But it's almost homely in a sense. Many of the employees are absolutely wonderful, some notable names I recall from my visit was BobbieJo, Leslie, Larry, and Ashe, although many other employees were very kind and welcoming, however, there was a few notes about another employee that I feel was perhaps having a bad day, A tall individual, I didn't catch their name, was complaining rather loudly to a customer about quite a few things and giving seemingly snide remarks about other people, now I'm unsure if perhaps this worker was simply having a bad day or if this is their typical behavior- But as a first experience it wasn't all too pleasant, to hear a worker complaining and calling their fellow employees some rather not too kind words I would rather not repeat. Other than that general experience, the selection was sparce, but given the size of the store I wasn't all too surprised. Again the overall general review I give this place is that while it definitely needs some TLC and a Major upgrade for the towns sake- the people seem kind with a few exceptions and the store was at the very least, comforting in a small town charm way.

We stopped at this location on our way to Alturas, CA to pick up some croissants. After a quick tour of the store I asked a man who was adjusting the bread shelf if there was a bakery and he none too politely informed me there wasn't one. His demeanor was not a good first impression. The exterior store design is what I remember from my 1960's childhood and the interior is tight. I have been to many small towns with Safeway stores and they have the newer layouts that have all the departments mentioned above. Lakeview deserves the upgrade to a whole new store.

A Leap of Taste was one of the few spots open, and after seeing all the great reviews, we decided to give it a try. The ambiance is really cute and cozy -- lots of decor, lighting, and seating that makes it feel welcoming and comfortable. Service was also quick and friendly, which we appreciated. We ordered the Green Machine smoothie and a matcha, and both were really good and definitely a highlight of our visit. Where the experience fell a bit short for us was the food. While the presentation was great, the taste didn't quite match expectations. The breakfast tacos listed potatoes, but they ended up being more like tater tots, and the tortillas weren't warm -- my friend wasn't very fond of them. I ordered the #5 sandwich, which was described as being on jalapeño toast, but it came on regular toast instead, along with a pickle on the side. The sandwich itself was okay -- not bad, but something I could easily make at home. For the two drinks and two food items, we paid around $40, which felt a bit high considering the overall food experience. I can see why this place is well-loved by locals -- it fits the neighborhood vibe and likely appeals to the regular crowd -- but as visitors, the food didn't quite live up to the hype for us. Overall, it's a cute spot with great drinks, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere. I'd probably come back for beverages, but I'd skip the food next time

Having tried the salsa, and you right away why they keep having to make more and more, this was all absolutely delicious. I can't wait to check out their location downtown!

And as someone said before, you have to look around to discover all the beers, cause some are not refrigerated (on shelf), and also there is a very cold cooler in the back. They have a couple aisles of convenience stuff, but I didn't look that close, candy up front, and at least 4 beers on tap, growlers available, not sure about drinking in the store, or tasting.

They had one of my favorite beers...Duchesse of Bourgogne (Belgian)...I couldn't believe it. They also have other awesome offerings such as nice cheeses (majority seemed to be from Rogue Creamery...solid). And they serve food...sandwiches, salads, breakfast items. And apparently it is excellent...I stopped by on my way to a buddy's house up the street and I asked him about this place and his words were "Yeah, it's awesome. Their food is great, some of the best in town." So there you go. Prices are good too. The owner needs to fancify the outside a bit so people don't think it's a divey convenience store. Top notch!
