It's a LONG way down a one-lane road from Oban to Blarcreen House, but once there, we didn't want to leave. We had a long, harried drive full of detours from Glasgow and Sian immediately sensed our stress. She put us at ease, got us inside and after a few minutes in our room, had pastries and tea ready for us in the living room, on a nice comfy couch, in front of a warm peat fire. We stayed three nights and woke up every morning refreshed, ready for a great breakfast, while watching the sheep outside. There should be a 6th star for this place. read more
