We went through my walking habits, the podiatrist Faisal talked me through what was causing the issue, even reccommended trainers to get to better support my walking, that were the most comfortable I've ever worn. It's in a great quiet location as well. recommend.

My expectations weren't that high, given the cost of the special offer, but it certainly exceeded it by far! So much so, that I'd love to tell others about it. It was easy to make an appointment and I was able to get one with a couple of days notice and around my preferred time slot. There are some parking spaces available on the forecourt (literally right in front of the practice, off street). Else metered parking in the area is really expensive. The practice is fairly easy to find. Nothing posh but nice with lots of products on display in the large waiting area. It's quiet though and I didn't see anyone else come or go throughout my time there. But guessing that if she works on her own, can only see one person at a time anyway. I was greeted by Nagina, the podiatrist and completed a registration card while she took my Groupon voucher details. I then went into the treatment room where we discussed my concerns and she examined my feet visually. Then discussed treatment options while my feet were soaked in a warm foot bath. She then physically inspected my feet, removed some dead skin and performed the treatment. And afterwards, she moisturised my feet briefly. People should remember that this is not a pedicure though! I have no connections with this practice or anyone at this practice this is simply my honest review. Overall I thought the service was very professional and delivered in a friendly manner. A treatment plan was discussed. I was under no pressure to re-book or buy any products. Other than a medicinal treatment I needed for my one foot for ongoing home treatment (at a very small additional cost). I will most certainly return in a couple of months for a follow up treatment.

The 'medical pedicure' per se lasted 3-4 minutes (a quick brush of dead skin on my heals), all in all 10-15 minutes. When I went to pay, the full price was £250. Whilst i had asked if the treatment was included when booking (and was told yes) surprise surprise, a full £180 extra appeared. They need and could be more transparent UPFRONT with their fees. Not uncommon in the Harley St set, I should have known better and feel like a muppet. Caveat emptor, get a full price quote in advance and preferably in writting.

Two, they seem to be somewhat specific to the UK. We do not have them in the States (though we obviously should!). So I set an appointment to see what this business was all about. I read Leslie's review and made it a point to visit this particular office, and I was not led astray. It was very easy to schedule via email as well. I would consider a medical pedicure something like the routine maintenance one might perform on a car. Not something you need every day, week or even month -- but every 6 months, we need to get things tuned up. It's a cross between medical and beauty. A licensed and educated chiropodist puts you in the pedicure chair, and proceeds to smooth out all the maladies brought upon one's feet by ordinary life, pinchy shoes, flip flops, sports, etc. Shaves down dried cracked skin, rounds out the nails and smooths them down, and basically just brings your feet back to an organic position. Of course they also have much more complex and detailed procedures, but I was just in for a bit of medical pedicuring. This took about 25-30 minutes total. The office was nice, the staff very friendly, overall a great experience. So if you were ever wishing that your nail tech at your local shop would scrub those callouses a bit more or really get in there --- come here first. Have them do the hard work, then go to to your nail lady for the pretty finishing touches and polish. I'm a fan for life, Feet for Life! 55 quid and my feet look like new again.
