They broke the stalks off of multiple potted plants, they trampled my wildflower garden, and they crushed my other flowers. I have spent so much time and effort building my gardens and they've been destroyed. The workers also broke one of my flower pots (and tried to hide it), shattered one of my garden statues, and left dirt all in the pool. They also left trash and roof debris everywhere. I've been finding wrappers, shingles, and nails all over. Not only is that nasty, but I have dogs that run around in the backyard, I can't have nails out there. While I'm happy they are compensating me for what was trashed, I still can't just go get those flowers back. I had grown them from seed and they were just starting to bloom. Very, very disappointed with how careless and unprofessional the workers are.

You have several stages of an insurance claim: 1. The incident that caused it. 2. finding a water damage control company/contractor. If water damage, you may need two or more companies. 3. dealing with the insurance adjuster. 4. the actual job. 5. Any possible issues that need to be addressed after the job is completed from the insurance company to the quality of the work. While his company was backed up and working out of town for several weeks. He did return my call and I appreciate that. That alone would say his company is good. However, he also took time out of his work day to recommend a couple of contractors not listed on yelp, contractors he's worked with that would be in the type of work I need done. That's a great help right there. I can see contractors on yelp with bad reviews, a couple that have great reviews and some with no reviews. With reviews you have to take with a grain of salt. Everyone has a story to tell good or bad. If it's a great review and it's really short, I have to wonder if it's padding. If a review just says they're good, great and the best thing since sliced bread that tells me nothing. Why was it so good? If it's bad, why was it bad and often people are more than willing to go into detail why it's bad. He has not done any work for me but I give him a good rating for returning my call during his workday and not just explaining he was booked up for four or more weeks but recommending a couple of contractors that he feels will do the job right.
