Ronnie Bland of Bland Roofing in Macon Georgia (thank God there's only one of them) and spoke with me about his company. Mr. Bland only bragged about how he has help "black urban" kids to get on the Georgia football team and by me being a black American man, I guess he thought that I would be impressed (I was not) however, my focus was the services and bad reviews that came about Bland Roofing and what he can assure me as a client that I would not have any issues like his previous clients did (leakage, etc). His office person/ secretary sent me a typed up piece of paper without any letter head calling it a "contract" with very little details on it for $16,000 cash, after reading the horrible reviews from other customers I sent back a real and revised contract (drawn up by a real Roofing company) with same products that he uses in depth details and warranty information to his office and he sent me a email back to say that "we declined because you pick a shingle that is very expensive" (which is the same sample that Mr. Bland left a my home for me to choose from) a Landmark Pro Designer Shingles. I sent a pictureofthe LandmarkProShingleto the office for them to review what Mr. Bland left and got no response. Bland is a hustler (lair and cheat to get what he wants and leave a trail of broken promises behind) I'm I went the extra mile and did my research and reviewed his "contract". I took Mr bland's word as truth as he told me he would come to my home and fix the issues that I had but that was several years ago. I have even ran into Mr bland at a local eating establishment and he assured me if I gave him my number and information he would still come by my home that was 6 months ago and still haven't seen him or any of his crew. This is a review of Bland Company roofing services. The Bland Company was the most fairly priced, attentive, and helpful company I could have asked for to reroof our home. Colt went above and beyond to make sure my roof was perfect and would last. There were a couple of issues that came up during the process, and Colt provided incredible service, even driving out to my home to check the roof after hours during the rain. Ronnie Bland is simply a lying liar who lies. I urge you to use anyone else rather than getting yourself involved with him or his company. They came to my house and the salesman claimed they could find existing damage so that the insurance company would be involved. I didn't want the guy to take a hammer with him to make sure of the damage so I declined his offer. He replaced the roof on my elderly widow neighbor's house and within 3 years, she had to hire a different roofing company to replace metal flashing and brand new shingles at a cost of $900. Ronnie only seemed to be pleased their company got her insurance to pay for their shoddy re-roof. So he just took their money and ran. She even had her salesman make a special note of her concern with the leaks between her roof and her metal patio topper on their original estimate. So they ignored her concern. It turns out that Ronnie never replaces metal flashing and that's what happened to this widow lady. After 20 or 25 years, don't you think new metal flashing should be installed under new shingles? It's very inexpensive. Ronnie doesn't think so. He'd rather pocket the money he would have spent to do a quality repair. He promised the widow to call and come look. He never did. Just remember that Ronnie Bland is a lying liar who lies and you'll be fine. read more
