Disgraceful ! As an avid bird lover and keeper I was left shocked and upset at the conditions the birds are kept in here. A lot of the birds looked poorly with some showing signs of respiratory distress probably due to the filthy conditions and lack of hygiene. Bird are cramped together in tiny cages with no environment enrichment or even decent food and fresh water.
As we left the shop I was horrified to see a Congo African Grey "Corky" (not for sale, so presumably left in the shop as an attraction to customers) in a filthy cage, devoid of suitable perches or toys, with a bowl of indistinguishable food and stagnant water.
