I picked up these beautiful flowers at Blakelee's Bouquets in Homewood. If you are local, you should definitely consider them for your flower needs! I've been meaning to stop by after seeing them at a block party with other local businesses. Beautiful, fresh flowers everywhere in the store and it smells so good! I was able to have one of the designers put together a quick bouquet wrapped in brown paper for me (and they can do that for a range of prices depending on what you want if they don't already have some made.) The owners were working alongside another flower designer. Everyone was so friendly. I have complete confidence that they would make a beautiful bouquet based solely on a phone conversation if I wanted to send someone flowers. So happy I found them! read more

I ordered flowers for my mother's 70th birthday from 1800 flowers who outsourced to this local florist. It was such an awful experience... I placed the order on Jan 5th for delivery of Jan 14th. The flowers were delivered on Jan 6th - this $100 "XL flower bouquet" order was awful and A WEEK ahead of the scheduled delivery date. Seriously, I could put together a better bouquet with flowers from the grocery store. So I called 1800 flowers back, who then placed a replacement order for Jan 14th delivery... I received a confirmation that the order was delivered only to find out from my mother that no flowers were received. I again called 1800 flowers who confirmed that the order was showing as delivered from Blakelee's Bouquets. There was nothing more that they could do - I am out of luck in getting flowers to my mother on her 70th birthday. The entire experience was a waste of time and I want nothing to do with either Blakelee's or 1800 flowers again. read more
