She is extremely sweet and has been doing makeup for almost 20 years! She is willing to work with you and can travel if you need her to. She is also affordable! I am Asian and Lin has worked with a ton of Asian women (our features are not the easiest to work with)-- she knows how to do more natural makeup, which is the look I want to go with. She works with another woman for events who does hair. They also have a third person who works part-time on their team that assists with hair and makeup as well. I have not met the other ladies on the team, but Lin seemed to really know what she was doing. She is a woman of many talents-- she also makes cakes as a side business. Her calm demeanor allows her to be a voyeur in your pet's daily life. She was able to capture images of how I see my dog and cat on a daily basis. I could also tell that she spends a lot of time working on the photos post production as the shots didn't just appear that way (especially doggie eye boogers magically disappearing). I decided to contact her after seeing an email from work that she does with a pet rescue agency. As soon as I saw her photos I knew I had to hire her for a surprise birthday gift for my partner. Plan ahead folks especially if you chose to have a book made. She is not just coming to your house with a point and shoot camera on a scooter - she is a true professional. The day of the shoot was a breeze. She had already prepared me via email on what to expect and how long the process would take. After the shoot she had samples of all the incredible options she offers. It was no hard sell and after I saw the proofs - I knew I had to have a book created. The proofs almost brought me to tears as they were beyond beautiful as images but most importantly - they captured the essence of, stealing from her own tag line, unconditional love. She not only switched around her schedule to accommodate me, she also checked in with me while I was in the hospital to make sure we were still on track with the picture time( newborn pics are usually taken within 2 weeks of the baby's birth). On the creative end she listened to my ideas and did her hardest to recreate my vision. I wanted lots of colors and a picture created with Diwali(festival of lights) theme in mind. My baby slept through the entire shoot! Her studio is also perfect with the temperature adjust for the baby's comfort. She has diapers, breast pump, baby wipes, hand sanitizers, in short all essentials needed for new moms and babies.
