A little under three miles and brings you to the top of a ridge for panoramic views, deep forestry and ends with an awesome "chute" trail. The trails were marked clearly and maintained. When I told the employee that I wanted to buy a gift card, he audibly sighed and said "oh boy, OK"in a negative tone. Right off the bat, this did not give me a positive impression. I asked him if everything was OK and he just said "yeah I can't really remember how to sell these." His attitude was just negative overall throughout the transaction. He did get it figured out, but it took him a few minutes, and while I was waiting a few people stacked up in the line behind me. There was another employee behind the desk and it seemed like he should be able to help out somehow, but he just stood there and didn't do anything. It also struck me as not the best customer service as if you're coming into pay, I know tee times are very specific and waiting a long time could make you late.

We visited Summit Lake in Spring, and the scenery, sunset, and drive through the area were super scenic. There are tons of activities to do in this park, including swimming, biking, fishing, hiking, and more. In addition, there are some more simple/fun family friendly activities like a playground and horseshoe pits. ALSO, there are little short "waterfalls" as you walk around the trails/lake - waterfalls! My favorite thing we saw on the lake were two ducks with their little gaggle of ducklings, right as the sun was setting - so cool! I do think that it's a place to visit in summer or spring more-so than winter, as the nature and lakes/animals are a big part of the neatness of it. But if you can only go in fall/winter, I think it's still worth a visit!

He personally saw to it that my three year old not learn basic water safety from a family member. George threatened said family member and proceeded to revoke her membership for spending time with my son and helping him learn basic water safety. His priority is making the YMCA money through swim lessons (which I would NOT recommend as a past YMCA lifeguard).. the "training" is subpar. It is clear that George and the Blair YMCA do not support young children having basic water safety skills unless they are taught by their staff. Futhermore, the lifeguards spend great amounts of time huddled together talking rather than keeping eyes on patrons. Will be making it a point to get the word out about how badly my family was treated at the Blair YMCA thanks to George Tintera.
