The recently opened facility is cramped, poorly designed, noisy, and lacks the basic privacy expected in a dental office. All four of us are in agreement that if our dental work cannot be completed at the 50 Park Road location we will be forced to find a new dental service provider. My partner said it best, the new location is not suitable for a tiny house and clearly not workable for a top notch dental practice shoehorned into a very small location.

But after I scheduled an appointment for a cleaning, they put me on a call list and a text list without even asking me. I unsubscribed from the text one; then they put me on another one. I called, asked to be removed from all call and all text lists, not to be called or texted again for any reason before my appointment; the lady I spoke with said that would happen, yet it didn't. Additionally, on the day of my appointment and less than an hour before it, the dentist office texted me two things I had to do before I came in, as if I had nothing else going on, and of course after they had already said they wouldn't text me anymore. I decided to cancel. I miss the days when people just made appointments and that was it. No phone apps, online portals or accounts, third-party messaging programs, annoying busywork, getting spammed, or places that annoy their customers and ignore their requests which they promised to honor.

Ashley Valley Family Dental was suggested to me because how great they were with kids. So I decided to give them a try. My first experience with them was great. I only needed a cleaning. The friendliness of the staff made me feel right at home. Abby checked me in and she was great. Brittany did my cleaning and was great and did a fantastic job. My next appointments were the same experience. This very last one was a cleaning again. Maddie did my cleaning this time. Her cheerful attitude and contagious laugh made me feel at ease. They found a filling that had issues that needed replaced. So I said..."Let's do this!" Dr. Abrams came in to administer the numbing shot. My experience has always been a very sharp pinching stinging pain when dentists do this. Especially in the back teeth. Well much to my surprise, he had a technique that was so great I didn't even feel it. It was crazy! Loved it! Bree was his assistant. They were fast and efficient. A well oiled machine. It was a great experience. They have good modern equipment. They worked with my insurance company. They were well priced. I'm happy with them.

It's just that my old dentist had big shoes to fill, and the couple of dentist that I had tried didn't seem like dentists that I could get used to going to or feel super comfortable with... I guess you could call it a gut feeling. I read the good reviews but still didn't know what to expect. I had my appointment with Dr. Dan. He was extremely kind and friendly and I felt really comfortable about my visit. The place is definitely up to date, but it also has kind of an old school style feel... which I really liked. My experience with Dan Mirci was downright awful. I went in for a cleaning where he identified a…read morefilling that needed to be replaced. I got the filling scheduled and got it done just to be surprised with his own inflated fees rather than my insurance fees which he refused to accept. The reason? It was a filling that wasn't due for replacement yet. Amy, the awful billing lady yelled and argued with me over the phone that it's not their job to check if the tooth had been worked on in the past by another office. These people are lazy as sh*t and will NOT check any sort of tooth history just to trap you into paying their blown up fees. Watchout, this is a strategy of theirs! All other offices I've been to will not hesitate to call your insurance to gather pertinent information about the tooth that needs work. The filling, by the way, was no good. As you can see from the other reviewers, Dan Mirci absolutely sucks at performing fillings. Save yourself the headache and avoid this office and the awful billing lady! The rest of the ladies there were nice but Amy the biller is a total b*tch.
