unsatisfied and felt lied to…read more I booked this appointment 3 months in advance with a clearance on size, reference, and placement with Rafael and his assistant. Upon arrival Rafael drew something up to his liking of my reference but it was completely different than what I was expecting. In minor shock I was silent. I have two full stomach tattoos, 3 portraits, a half leg sleeve, and a back neck tattoo all done by differing artist and none have ever changed what i wanted so drastically. Rafael felt my vibe being off and then offered me to work with him on what we could do. Not dead set on the tattoo I originally showed him 3 months in advance I asked if he did portraits as I would like one more. He pointed to one that I already had and blatantly asked "why don't you just go back to that artist?". Once again I was taken aback by the comment. After discussing not doing another tattoo we set back on track for the original reference and idea I provided. He drew something much closer to what I wanted but I asked for more detail. He assured me there would be more detail in the actual tattoo than in the drawing. He also assured me that the sizing wasn't an issue and would connect to my other tattoos. After he was 'finished' neither promises were kept. The tattoo looks unfinished in detailing especially in comparison to what I asked for and in the look of my tattoo style. The tattoo also does not fade into my other tattoo shading. This is so disappointing as he had an apprentice with him who was listening to Rafael call himself extremely talented and gifted and naturally amazing at tattooing. This also left me so unsatisfied I decided to pay and leave as he did not want to (or could not) do what I asked for. I will now have to spend more money with a different artist to finish what he started.

I ended up doing a Google search for shops in the area close to where I was staying for my trip and found "Sacred Eye Tattoos" and met Tommy. When he realized I was from Ohio, he asked how my trip was going and I proceeded to tell him about how things didn't go as planned for my birthday trip and was looking to get a tattoo to try to end my trip on a high note. Tommy proceeded to tell me that I was in the right place, because here at *Sacred Eye Tattoos", it wasn't just a tattoo shop, it was a shop that treated its customers like family. I promise you as someone who has alot of tattoos and been to a lot of different tattoo shops, he was not kidding, by the time I left I had a huge smile on my face. My tattoo artist was Diego, he did an amazing job helping me come up with a custom designed tattoo that I absolutely fell in love with that everything I envisioned in it and the placement was absolutely stunning, it flows so well with the rest of the tattoos that are on my arm. The line work is absolutely impeccable and I damn near fell asleep while getting it. Everyone in the shop was super friendly and the camaraderie between the staff was amazing to see. Whenever I am in Florida visiting this will definitely be the only tattoo place I will ever go to and I have already recommended this shop to several people that I know and will continue to do so. This was the best tattoo experience I've ever had. Thank again Tommy for going above and beyond to help me end my birthday trip on a high note. And thank you Diego for the beautiful tattoo, you came up with a design that exceeded my expectations for what I originally came in for, this is easily my favorite tattoo now. I look forward to visiting the shop again for my next tattoo when I'm in Florida again.

You don't hear the drilling noise of the machines. And they are all wireless now too. I will definitely be coming back for a couple more tattoos with Diego.

She even gave my daughter a couple stickers to cheer her up. When I called ahead, I was told that they start putting away the jewelry by 7:30pm. The visit didn't go quite as expected but I didn't really fault them for it.
