This is a great resort, the backdrop just takes your breath away!…read more The room we had was a double bed room and was spacious enough for a family of four. Our room was accessible from the outside parking lot and had a common balcony area. The hotel restaurant was great for breakfast since we needed to fuel ourselves up before enjoying all the local sites nearby. I'd definitely come back and stay here again.

Great Views. Zero Soul…read more I genuinely wanted to love this place. It had everything on paper - the views, the parking, the promise. So here's my honest advice: Book one night in the big suite, don't interact with management or the events team, eat somewhere else, and leave. You'll actually enjoy yourself. Here's the reality: It's gorgeous on the outside. But in my experience, there's no soul or integrity behind the facade. The service culture feels stuck in a bygone era - and not in a charming way. The locker rooms are cramped, poorly maintained, and frankly, they smell. The food is forgettable. The spa feels pretentious and operates on what I can only describe as a 1987 business model. I was told I'd need to order a nail job just to access the steam room. Make it make sense. The concierge was genuinely lovely - but it felt like her hands were tied by management's outdated approach. She seemed to want to help more than the system would allow. The events department was, in my experience, a major disappointment. Communication felt disorganized and unresponsive. When I asked for a simple proposal, I was told they "couldn't possibly do that for every inquiry" - in 2025, when AI tools can generate a polished, customized proposal in minutes. I tested it myself using Canva and Claude with their own metrics. Took me four minutes. The resistance to modernizing felt deliberate. Outside of the top-tier suites - which are reasonably priced by Colorado standards ---this felt like a mediocre hotel calling itself a resort. It is not The Broadmoor. It is not a Four Seasons. Those places deliver hospitality with humanity. This felt more like a zombie party with a great view. My honest opinion? It feels like ownership is either disengaged, burnt out, or simply no longer pursuing excellence. That said - if you're a Colorado local, the 10% room discount is a nice touch. Choose your room wisely, skip on-site dining, and check out 503W nearby for great prices and actual atmosphere. For corporate events? I'd look elsewhere.

Being right next to the flowing water made everything felt peaceful and grounding. We went a bit early, which helped because those pools do fill up fast, and we were able to have one to ourselves for a little while. It was quiet, people were respectful of noise levels, and all you could really hear was the water. The sky was a perfect blue that day, which made the whole experience even more beautiful. ‍ Pools and Amenities They have two large main pools that feel like swimming pools. One is hotter and the other is a medium temperature, and there is even a lap lane. They provide lockers at a cost for your belongings and lounging chairs where you can keep snacks or anything you bring with you. Everything felt clean and easy to use. Customer Service Customer service was great. The staff were super friendly, helpful, and welcoming, which really added to the experience. Accessibility and Parking Parking was easy and convenient. There are quite a few stairs throughout the property. If you have bad knees or mobility issues, I would recommend taking your time. There are railings at the main pools, but not at the creekside pools, so just be cautious. Price The price is $35 per person for an all day pass. They also offer senior discounts. For the experience, atmosphere, and amenities, it felt worth it. Overall Experience Overall, Mount Princeton Hot Springs is a gorgeous, peaceful place to relax and reset. I really enjoyed myself visiting and would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a calming getaway.

Mixed feelings. The layout of the place is confusing. I couldn't find an accessable entry. There…read morewere a lot of stairs. Lots of stairs. The staff at the historic bathhouse front desk was disinterested and unhelpful. Not pleasant like we were wasting their time. There are no clear instructions as to what a day pass entails, and questions are referred to a map but nothing else said. A portable map or more signage would be helpful. The staff just were there for a job and offered up nothing. One pool seemed to have too much chlorine. The pools are moderately hot. The creekside pools looked enjoyable but the one theme people said is "if you can get there." Truth, as even able-bodied youth appeared to have trouble scrambling ambling over boulder cobble Chalk Creek banks to gain entry. Seemed treacherous. A large pipe fed hot water into the cold creek. Fees like 10$ for towels with 5 dollar refund were nickel and diming in my opinion. The location is beautiful. The facility is well built. Nothing was clear as to layout and where to go. There are other hot springs in the region that fit our vibe. We will not return.

I used to love great wolf lodge as a kid, so I've been looking forward to bringing my kids here…read more We stayed for two nights. Beds could have been more comfortable. We also had trouble with our balcony door staying closed and getting it to lock. Rooms were clean though. I liked the little features like the soap being in the shape of a paw print. The waterpark was awesome to have access to while we were there. Especially during the winter months. They got water attractions for all ages. The resort overall is nice. The lobby is huge and gives that cozy, lodge feel. They have plenty of dining options inside of the hotel. There is plenty to do besides the waterpark. Look into their bundles if you are interested in doing the other activities besides the waterpark. Will definitely be back! Tips: Download their app so you know what time the activities are going on in the resort or to order food ahead. By check in they pass out complimentary wolf ears.

Extremely disappointed with our experience at Great Wolf Lodge Colorado Springs…read more We arrived around 1 PM and were told our room would not be ready for several more hours. During conversations with staff/supervisors (the middle aged blonde woman at the front in particular), we were verbally assured multiple times that we would receive a full refund if we chose to cancel and leave. She was very rude during the entire interaction however. We relied on those statements, left the property, never used the room overnight, and then later were told no refund had ever been promised. The conflicting information and handling of the situation was incredibly frustrating, especially for a family with children. After trying to resolve it directly, I was forced to open a dispute through my bank. Unfortunately, after this experience, we will not be returning.
