One of the best restaurants that we've ever eaten at. It was great. It was wonderful. The people are so professional and we loved it. And oh yeah the casino is great too!

Combo plate - A plate of Mexican cuisine featuring cheese-covered enchiladas, refried beans, and shredded lettuce with diced tomatoes, alongside a taco with shredded cheese and salsa in a small cup.

Decent prices and service. If you are looking for a cheap bite this is the place. They are not the fastest or the best but ok food. Chile doesn't have much flavor but the food was filling. You also get chips and salsa and sopapillas with your meal. Staff is friendly and location is easy in/out from the freeway.

nachos - A foam takeout container holds nachos topped with shredded cheese, lettuce, diced tomatoes, and ground beef, placed on a plastic bag on a wooden table.

I came here to do my 10 hour reset. They have a huge parking lot for us truck drivers. The staff is very friendly, they even offer you complimentary drinks while you play. I didn't have any luck winning but I got lucky with some delicious nachos and only for 6$. The guacamole was a little bit spicy which is something I loved about the place Ive never had it served like that before. Definitely recommend it to anyone passing by or doing a 10 hour reset.

Music on Friday and Saturday nights

Went on a Saturday night to dance to the country rock band Stateline. Large dance floor, lots of tables and seats. Seemed like a mostly local crowd that night, with a wide age range. Safe and friendly atmosphere. The band, Stateline, was great. Played a lot of their own songs, some covers, and some in native language (I think they're Navajo). On this particular night there was no cover. We had some Indian Fry Bread at the little restaurant just outside the theater doors, very reasonably priced, and soft drinks, coffee, and tea are free in the casino. Great deal. They have a variety of different music acts on Fridays and Saturday nights. We'll definitely be back again.

No trip to New Mexico is complete without a trip to the Travel Center. I really enjoy the food and people here. Today I had the 2 egg breakfast with sausage patties. But instead of toast I had sopapillas. YUMMY. Soft flaky fried bread. Puffed up like a warm pillow. They bring honey but I don't like honey. I used jelly instead. Delicious. Sister had the peublo Benedict's. Biscuts topped with scrambled eggs and country gravy. Gravy looked a little thin vut she loved it. Can't wait to come back.

Baaaaa-zing. Fun. .....well, pre fun. Craps on my face fun times!

Kind of run down and not much in to offer as far as food. Overall kind of dreary. I will not return.

We were rushing down the hall in our bathing suits and tried to badge in at 11:01, but the card had already been deactivated. I told the gentleman at the front desk and he was unmoved. Said there was absolutely no way he could allow us into the pool, as it was after checkout time -- by two minutes. Sorry Charlie, hope you enjoyed your stay, now get out! I get it, rules are rules, but I was astonished he wasn't willing to let the kids swim for a bit before we left. A nice empathetic guest let us in and the kids swam for a bit, until this guy comes in and threatens to call security! This place is a lovely looking ghost town. The parking lot is empty. They have nothing but slots. No poker. Very disappointed. Booked the Sandia Resort and Casino up the road the following night, which was AMAZING. We had a bad experience. If it weren't for that incident, I would have given them at least 4 stars. You may have a wonderful visit, as long as nothing like this happens to you.

The server/host even showed us exactly where we would be sitting. While we were waiting, another large party arrived. When our table became available, that group argued that they had arrived first, even though they clearly had not. Despite knowing this, the server/host gave our table to the other family. To make matters worse, the other family surrounded me as I spoke to the server/host and insisted the table was theirs. The entire situation was handled very poorly and made us extremely uncomfortable. I will never return to this restaurant.

The resort is in Santa…read moreAna Pueblo, which is about 25 minutes outside Albuquerque and another 50 minutes from Santa Fe (though with the conference schedule, I was unable to make it to Santa Fe). The property itself is beautiful and expansive, sits on Tamayame land, and at the outset of the conference a member of the Native American tribe welcomed us and shared about the land and setting. The property has with multiple event spaces, an on-site trail, a large gym, and several pools. It is a fairly large resort (our room was at one end, so it was about a 7-10 minute walk to the main lobby area). Each day began with a large breakfast buffet, and lunch was similarly well done. One of the highlights was being able to sit outside during meals at large tables overlooking the grounds, mountains, trees, and fresh air made for a really peaceful setting. For breakfast, I enjoyed the red/green chilies chilaquiles (New Mexican style breakfast), it was very flavorful and I enjoyed trying but was very spicy/heavy. From a conference and events perspective, the resort is very impressive. There is a large main conference room with a stage, and the room can accommodate over 100 people (at round tables), along with many smaller breakout rooms. Over two evenings, we attended events at different venues on the property, one about a 10-minute walk away (with hotel mini-bus transportation available), and another closer to the main area under a tent. The more distant venue was quite large and set apart, likely used for weddings and larger celebrations. That evening included a buffet dinner, DJ, dancing, and multiple bar setups. The second evening closer to the main hotel was a seated dinner under a tent, with music and performances in a more contained setting. There is also a nice bar and restaurant in the lobby, as well as another more casual restaurant by the pool. Given time constraints, I was not able to fully take advantage of all the amenities (including the spa, horseback riding, and longer trail walks), but I would absolutely recommend this property. It is incredibly scenic, serene, and feels immersed in nature, and I would gladly return.

Beautiful, classic New Mexican architecture surrounded by desert and mountain views. The grounds are beautiful with options for biking (included), tennis/pickleball, walks, horseback riding, and golf. Located about 30 minutes north of Albuquerque and 45 minutes south of Santa Fe, made it easy to spend time in either. We were able to check in early, which was so nice after an early travel morning. Our room was large and included the classic hotel amenities, including waters. We were staying slightly during the off season, so two pools were open, which was fine as it wasn't that busy and it didn't get hot until about noon. Due to the location of the resort, it is easiest to eat at the property and there are a couple of options available: The Corn Maiden - nicer dining experience, Santa Ana Cafe - casual sit-down, Rio Grande Lounge - bar and bites, and Plaza - pool cafe. During our visit the Plaza pool restaurant was only open on Saturday. We tried in-room dining for breakfast one morning, as we were up early, the eggs had little to no flavor, and a couple of our items were forgotten/late. Not a huge deal as we understood they were training a lot of staff during the time of our stay. Overall, the food throughout all the dining options was just okay, and if there were more dining options close by, I would probably go there. The restaurants all tasted the same and there didn't seem to be much variety. It would be nice if at least one of the dining options was a different kind of cuisine to bring some variety. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, the staff was so friendly and helpful. There are plenty of activities to do at the resort and we loved that they had nightly s'mores. The room was great, but food could be better.
