Our scheduled pickup time was 7:11. By 7:13, when he had still not arrived, we called him. He…read moreanswered and said, "Funny thing, I think the transmission is going out of this. So I'll see if I can get a new rental, then go get a snack, use the bathroom, and I'll call you back." This response was both unprofessional and concerning, especially given that we were already waiting past our scheduled time. After waiting a few more minutes with no update, we called again. At that point, he told us to come find him. We had been told to look for a white van, but he was in a black one, which caused unnecessary confusion. When we approached to confirm his identity, his response was dismissive and irritated. During this time, we also received a call back from a woman at your company who said, "Oh my God, you're just going to have to wait," which only added to the frustration and lack of professionalism we were already experiencing. We apologized to Dennis for the confusion and simply tried to confirm we were in the correct vehicle and that the address was accurate. In response, he slammed the door. The vehicle itself was clearly having issues and struggling while driving, which made the situation even more uncomfortable. Despite all of this, when we arrived, we still chose to tip him. In return, he ripped up the money and threw part of it out the window, keeping the other half. This behavior was completely unacceptable and frankly shocking.
