As a result, the people who were going to pick me up originally were unable to do so. And I needed to get to Captiva, about an hour away from the airport. I called two other limousine companies and they had no availability. That actually turned out to be a blessing because Ambassador Transportation was outstanding in absolutely every respect! Richard, the owner, was so nice and so patient in arranging for everything quickly and efficiently. Roger, my driver, was terrific. The car was so clean and comfortable. However they are located on a small resort island, and it would be helpful and not difficult for them to post the price of an airport run on their website, or tell you what the charge will be, as well as their way of accepting payment in their confirmatory email.

01 August 2024 / Thursday…read more Going to Chicago to attend a family event scheduled for this weekend. I needed a ride to Fort Myers RSW Airport. No one was available to provide me with transportation to RSW. So I booked passage with Surfside Airport Shuttle Service. My ride , scheduled for a 10:00 a. m. Pickup , arrived a few minutes early. Kimberly was my driver and we enjoyed a pleasant conversation en route to the airport. I was the only passenger as the service is exclusive. I noticed that the van in which I was being driven was very clean , inside and outside. This is a small family owned business. The fare was $56.00 for one person or two. More than two people and the price is increased. But 2 can travel for the same price as one, $56.00. We arrived at RSW Airport in plenty of time for me to catch my flight. If in need of airport transportation I would recommend Surfside Airport Shuttle Service. The service is prompt , clean and dependable. Car was clean, scent free, and tons of room in the back to stretch your legs after a long flight! I was actually very shocked how much space their was in the back seat. Car kept at a nice temperature as well. $49 from Airport to Fort Myers Beach (Cash of 5% fee on Credit Card so just plan to have your cash ready). We did this instead of paying the $300+ for a rental car. Plus we didn't even need a rental car! Affordable cabs, walkable restaurants/shops, and cheap trolley made a car unnecessary. But that's a story for another time. Back to the cab! Michael made it very easy to make the reservation and make changes. You can also use the form on their website to hash out the details of your trip. They do require a reservation. This is not a taxi you're going to grab as you walk out with your bag. The reservation process is what made me chose Fort Myers Beach Limo over other companies. I like to know I've got my ride all figured out. The pick up process was very smooth, went just as the directions indicated. I received a phone call a few short minutes after landing, thus I then had the driver's phone number. As soon as we had our bags, we gave the driver a call and 2 minutes later we saw him rolling up. A+ easy pick up service. We did have an issue on the way back to the airport. We had changed our reservation (and had been confirmed), but we never got our 15 minute courtesy call. Then our pick up time arrive and we still heard nothing. I got a hold of the driver and he apologized extensively saying he had lost track of time. We sped over to us and thankfully we had planned some extra time. I don't think this is a common occurrence, as the driver was very apologetic and kind of shocked that he had forgotten to pick us up. Our ride back to the airport was comped 100%. I don't think that was necessary, but it was very generous and makes me confident to use Fort Myers Beach Limo the next time I'm in the area. Use this limo/airport shuttle service. You won't regret it! Tip: Accepts cash or credit card with a 5% fee on the card as I mentioned above. Plan ahead and have your cash ready to avoid having to pay this 5% fee and no problems!
