Jeff was extremely professional and explained the sign up, autopay, providing a password, ect. The entire process to learn and use the storage unit was made very easy, and everything thing worked as it should. The storage unit, as well as the grounds of the storage unit are kept extremely clean. They even provide carts for moving items, and a broom should you need to clean up. There is a one-time activation fee that I believe is $25 and it includes a lock (if you need it) that has keys. Otherwise you can use a combo lock as well. When signing up you either need a insurance or pay for their plan which is an additional $9/month. The location is very easy to find and Gerry was super nice getting everything set up and explaining all the processes. He was able to put some bottom pieces to lift up my storage (since in cardboard boxes) since the floor gets cold. Gerry clearly walked through how to open and close the locker. They mentioned that they do daily checks on the units for security and will call you if something happens. There are also cameras dispersed. Overall, it was super pleasant and efficient experience that I would recommend to anyone looking for a space for storage!

This is not a professionally-run storage facility. Our belongings, including antiques from…read moregrandparents, were leaked on over a long period of time. The administrators did not notice this water damage, which must have persisted over days. Water leaked through grandfather's upholstered 19th c. armchair. Even if your unit doesn't have plumbing pipes above it, as ours did, here are apartments above all the storage units, since they are on the lower level of an apartment complex. So if someone overflows the bathtub above you, your belongings can be ruined. You might think their insurance will pay for the damage. But they force you to sign a contract stating that they have no responsibility for damage to your belongings. If they had alerted me to the water leak when it occurred, I could have collected insurance from my company, but by the time I discovered the damage, I had changed to a policy with a much higher deductible and couldn't recover anything. The damage to valuable furniture and art objects was beyond the ability of restorers to correct. The objects were of great sentimental value and I was very unhappy that I rented a unit from AAA Access Storage in Cross Plains, WI. The management was also very unpleasant and unprofessional, and did not respond to phone and email messages. And they didn't even acknowledge or apologize for what had happened.
