It was supposed to take 2 weeks. It took him 3 months. I would not recommend him. I don't think he's ready to start his business yet. The one loyal worker that worked with him. Martise was very nice. Josh was rude to him at times mortise work very hard. Josh would go off for hours saying that he was getting supplies and would come back. Hours later, only to sit down to get on his phone. Some of the work he did. I was happy with at first but towards the end, he got sloppy things that I asked them to do. He wanted to do his way, and that's what the customer wanted. I paid him a lot of money, never late when he asked for money, he said in his contract. He wanted the money when jot was completed. When he got money before the job was completed. And I'm still not happy. I tried to be patient with him. Knowing that things do come up things do happen, but he took advantage of my kindness. He left electrical wires exposed in the rain and told me that it would be okay, really. The amount of money that I paid him. I should have been satisfied. I think not.

I got quotes from five concrete contractors including Criscuolo Concrete. They were the lowest by…read more$200 so I went with them. The work looked good and they were prompt and professional. All was well or so I thought. The work was done in the summer of 2021. After the winter of 2022 I noticed some of their work was cracking and chipping. I called and left a message and within a few days they came out and inspected the work and agreed to fix most but not all of the issues. I was told that they do not have a warranty for their work since they didn't mix the cement, who knew? I never asked about this and I incorrectly assumed they did. Perhaps this is standard for concrete contractors so make sure you ask any potential hire. At the time of the initial inspection they made a saw cut in one of the slabs and said they would be back the following week to finish the repair. After a month, yes a month, I called them and left a message. To their credit, they did come out and finish the repair. The issue was that it took five additional phone calls and almost six months to complete the 3 hour repair. I didn't complain about any of this or the small areas they would not fix since I wanted to get what I felt I was owed. I told them I had used salt over the winter and they said that is probably the reason for the damage but they never told me after the job not to use salt for at least a year after the work was done. I am not a professional concrete contractor so I had no idea. I suggested to them that they hand out maintenance cards warning the general public of the do's and don'ts. Finally, the slab they did replace was originally white but the replacement slab was grey, so it doesn't match the rest of they job. When I asked them about this they told me not to worry since the replaced slab would "turn white" within a few weeks. Here we are 2 months later and it's still as grey as it ever was. Take from this what you will, these are the facts of my situation and I have no axe to grind with them. I have seen many positive reviews online and I cannot comment on others interaction with them. They probably are a good contractor and I realize even the best of companies have issues from time to time but it pains me that I had to be one of them.

Doing demo and construction in a neighborhood can be challenging especially for multiple days and large equipment. This has a tendency to bother neighbors and cause issues. Not with Del. I have had at least 5 people in my neighborhood comment on how nice he and his team were. They also commented on what a fine job they did. Del did everything I asked for and more. He even built a cool storage area below the steps that I requested. I could not be happier with the job they did, the professionalism that the team had or the cost of the entire project. Super happy customer and will always recommend Del!

I would not recommend this contractor. They are lucky we are not suing them. They came out…read moreseveral times to do a covered patio and even met with my architect to come up with the drawings that supposedly would help him give me an exact quote for the job. I paid my arhitect $1600 for these drawings and contact ICE to meet and continue with the next steps. Not sure what happened because when I called or texted they either didn't answer or when they did, would tell me they would call me back or come another day which ofcourse they never did. I'm out $1600 because these drawings need changes and the new contractor doesn't need them. I have a friend who also did work with them and told me it was impossible to reach them after the job was completed. They are very bad at communication and don't have the courtesy to call you back. I would give them a zero if I could.
