The Scandinavian Christmas items in the window caught my attention as I walked by the Black Design Shop. I grabbed one of their catalogs and browsed as I walked around the mall and by the time I arrived back at my car I had decided that I had to go back and buy some items. I bought a cute Nordic skater doll for my mother and a typical Christmas elf for myself. The store was packed with interesting items, and many people were browsing the Christmas display so I was glad to grab my stuff and go. I thought the prices were somewhat high but you never see items like this for sale in the US so I didn't mind paying a little extra. The store reminded me of a Pottery Barn and had many items that I would have love to decorate my home with if not for the perils of airplane travel. read more

this bolia is located inside the kvadrat mall though it also has its own entrance if you don't want…read moreto go through the mall and down in the lower level. i consider bolia a step up from the better-quality-ikea-furniture. it's mostly contemporary scandinavian design. apart from furniture, there's also home textiles, decor, lighting, as well as tableware.
