Although we showed up at 9pm, the kitchen was still open for a late dinner. We decided to try the duck confit as a starter, along with Ox cheek. Although the duck confit was not my cup of tea, the Ox cheek was amazing! We also decided to order the fish and chips, which came with a side of mashed peas and was delicious! The restaurant has a vey comfortable ambiance. It feels very classy, yet has a rustic charm. This is definitely a nice restaurant and bar, with prime location along the harbour. It's worth a visit if your in Ayr!
