Sinai is huge. There is a tennis court, a small pond, several cabins, a fire pit, and a large dorm. There is even a pool and a hot tub. The medical staff was great to me, and gave me medications that really helped my depression and anxiety .Natalie is also great. Beth in FMLA was great to me, Lindsay, Hailey, Laura, and Christine the therapist. Brett was also amazing. I enjoyed Adam, and Nathan's classes. Beth in FMLA was AWESOME! No family visitation is allowed. Now to the bad. No intersectionality at all. The pictures on the website are not what the place currently looks like. It is dirty worn down, and gross. The facility is not clean. There are three cleaning people to clean several acres of property and they do not clean thoroughly. The floor in the kitchen was mopped only once in the 30 days that I was there. They do not wipe down the tables after we eat. The floorboards and walls and couches are filthy. The food is like jail cafeteria food. Seriously. These are not chef prepared meals. When you first arrive you are not given a proper tour. You are left to count on fellow patients to find out things like where the washing machine is. There is only one working washing machine, and one working dryer. The lines to get medications last 1-3 hours each time you take your meds. Which leads you to be late to classes and even miss your classes. You are required to take 7 classes a day every day for 30 days. No weekends off. The burn out is real. No sleeping in. They will take phone privileges if you do not get your classes in. The classes are rudimentary and basic. There is no nuance and most teachers phone it in and put on a TED talk. They are not teaching advanced concepts. The classes are boring. Buy coloring books or you will never get through 7 classes a day. They do not push the 12 steps. They are constantly changing your room and your roommates. I have been here 30 days and have had 8 roommates. That is chaotic and stressful and chaos is not therapeutic. I stopped unpacking my clothes because I knew I would be moved every three days. They hold most of the classes in a room in the basement. On the side of this room are several offices. People walk in and out of the offices during classes and you can expected at least 50 interruptions per class. If you are easily distracted it is impossible to focus during any classes. People constantly walking in and out. They do not plan fun activities. You are only allowed to see the horses once and you are not allowed to ride them. I was never taken to see the horses. They hold a "BBQ" once a week, and have karaoke on Fridays. Apparently this place was privately owned and was sold to Baymark and it has gone down hill since then. They underpay the staff, they overwork them, and they refuse to clean or maintain the facility. This is a cattle call, it is about getting in the most patients with the best insurance. This is about money not treatment. the CEO comes out once a week to teach a class about recovery and I just have no respect for someone who can see how chaotic and dirty this place is and do nothing about it. I feel like this place could be an amazing place and an amazing experience if the higher ups and Baymark. They charge our insurance companies thousands a day and can afford to higher more staff and to pay the staff a living wage. The staff is not intersectional and I could go on a 10 page rant about that. Maybe I will in another review.

The staff members are so unprofessional. I was told something completely different upon admission about medication I was allowed to take. I had staff members talking crap about me because I was voicing my opinion and then when I wanted to leave because of how terrible it was, they didn't even wanna give me my property and then made me walk to the bottom gate and wouldn't give me a ride on the golf cart because it was a liability, even though I fell trying to carry all my things. All they care about is the insurance money and once they know you're wanting to leave, they treat you like crap even more so than before.
