The worst experience with doctors. They are certainly…read moreunprofessional and very mean. I believe this clinic is solely focused on making money, operating more like a "factory" than a healthcare provider. They want you to take thousands of exams that you don't need.". "I was told that I have glaucoma, which I found to be a strange diagnosis.I wanted a second opinion, and it turns out I don't have glaucoma. Warning: Do not visit that place. It's a scam.

I came to this place in April 2021 as a follow up appointment due to a very painful eye emergency…read more For my first appointment (before this follow up) I had set up an appointment with what I thought was West Kendall and when I got there, they told me the appointment was for Main Baptist and they could not accommodate me there! So I had to get back in the car and trek all the way up to Main Baptist for the first of this two-part appointment. I received good care at both facilities and they allowed me to go to West Kendall for the follow up, so I was not planning to write a review about this upsetting experience. I decided to write a review today because I had another less severe eye injury last week and once again, I tried to get an appointment specifically here at West Kendall. Unfortunately, I was immediately informed that they were "fully booked" and they were only taking emergency appointments at Main Baptist that day! I live in West Kendall, pretty close to West Kendall Baptist and nowhere near Main Baptist. I did agree to go to Main Baptist because I was in some pain and I needed to know what was going on and ensure it wasn't a problem that would lead to permanent damage if left untreated. The doctor did not see me until a full hour past my scheduled appointment time, so they were obviously "fully booked" at Main Baptist as well. The doctor even seemed a bit rushed during the appointment, which makes sense since he had way too many patients that morning, including the emergencies like myself. The doctors at both facilities have been fine. My issue is that on these two separate occasions, I was sent to an extremely inconvenient location for an eye emergency, when there is a branch of this office right in West Kendall. Patients should be sent to the facility of their preference, emergency or not. There should ALWAYS be someone available for emergencies in each facility, not just one place or the other. I should also mention it is awful to drive a long distance home with the blazing sunlight after receiving eye drops. Just one more obvious reason Baptist really needs let eye care patients choose the facility closest to their home. If they do not allow me to go to West Kendall next time I need eye care, I will be finding another provider.
