They normally have the best gas prices, and aside from the long wait to get gas, it is a good place.

The parking lot is absolute chaos. Cars cutting through lanes, shopping carts appearing out of nowhere, people backing out like they're qualifying for the Daytona 500... getting from your car to the front door becomes a real-life game of Frogger with groceries on the line. Once inside, the store definitely shows its age. It's older, a little worn down, and there's kind of a permanent "this building has seen some things" vibe happening throughout the place. The lighting feels tired. The floors feel tired. Honestly, parts of the store feel like they're just trying to make it to retirement. That said... credit where it's due. The prices are good, the selection is solid, and for a smaller format Walmart, they actually carry a pretty decent variety of products. If you're trying to knock out grocery shopping without paying Publix prices, this place absolutely gets the job done. The staff? Nobody was rude, but there's definitely an atmosphere of "I am physically here, but emotionally I left two hours ago." It's not hostile... just very low-energy. Like the entire building collectively needs a vacation. At the end of the day, this Walmart is basically the definition of average. Not terrible. Not amazing. A little dingy, a little chaotic, but useful and reasonably priced. Three stars feels exactly right because three stars is the official Yelp rating for "Well... it exists, and I bought groceries."

There are few places on earth more spiritually confusing than a 7-Eleven roller grill…read more Hot dogs slowly rotating beside taquitos of mysterious origin... both glistening under fluorescent lights like they're participating in some kind of late-night convenience store beauty pageant nobody asked for. And honestly? I respect it. The 7-Eleven on Wiles and University in Coral Springs is still relatively new, which means it has that fresh-out-of-the-box look where everything still appears clean enough that you briefly forget you're buying dinner next to windshield washer fluid and scratch-offs. Unfortunately, once you get past the shiny exterior, this location feels oddly understocked compared to other 7-Elevens around town. The drink selection especially made me laugh a little. No real diet soda variety. No unsweetened iced tea options. Apparently this location looked at hydration choices and decided, "Sugar or sadness. Pick one." And getting into this place deserves its own side quest. If you're traveling eastbound on Wiles toward University, congratulations, you've unlocked easy access mode. Everyone else? May the odds be ever in your favor. Pulling in from other directions feels like solving a traffic puzzle designed by someone who enjoys watching U-turns. Now to be fair, it is still a convenience store, and technically it succeeded at being convenient enough that I eventually found something to buy... even if it wasn't remotely what I came in wanting. Which honestly may be the most 7-Eleven sentence ever written. "I didn't get what I wanted, but I left holding something questionable and a receipt." The store isn't terrible. The employees were fine. It's clean enough. But the lack of variety combined with the awkward access keeps this one from standing out in a good way. Two stars feels right. Mostly because the taquitos looked more emotionally fulfilled than I was.
