I was able to try an ice cream flavored with their local Sour Orange used in cochinita pabil, and my wife was able to try their take on a local pumpkin and even a local mushroom! All flavors exceeded my expectations and made me wish I returned each day to try a new flavor. Once inside I asked in Spanish for their recommendation instead of just choosing one. The kid at the counter recommended Mamey and Guanábana which I had never heard of. He showed me what the fruit looked like and described them well. I chose the Mamey and it was excellent! So, we walked over and found D&S! -There was live music--a great little two man band playing outside--and we quickly got seated. -I ordered the pina sorbet and it was a good amount, very light, and delicious pineapple flavor. -Service was great.
