The beers are in general from Swedish microbreweries and have good variation, even though there's a bit too few available. Hopefully some will change from time to time. The bartenders where nice and very helpful if you needed help in finding something you'd like, and offered a taste sample before you decided to buy if you wanted. There was no booking or queueing system available for getting a table, but if you're fine with having a beer standing if it's full a table usually becomes available after a while. If you'd want a guaranteed table when you arrive you should probably go somewhere else, or at least have a plan b. The food menu consists of smaller dishes; sliders, pizza slices, mac'n'cheese. There's also some desserts like the ice cream slider. The sliders and mac'n'cheese were very good. Fans of Flippin' burgers may feel some things are lacking: the sliders' texture is similar to Flippin's but lacks a bit when it comes to taste. That said they are still very good.

Glee. Pure glee. My visit was a short one and on this occasion, I didn't have time to sit in for dinner, but the call to burgerdom was strong and so I headed in this direction hoping they did takeaway. First relevant fact: they do takeaway. Walking in the door, I was greeted by a very nice woman and told that yes, I could order the burger to devour at home. Woohoo!! Second relevant fact: this place is decorated like if a hipster and a lumberjack had a baby and that baby grew up to be rather posh and decided to open a restaurant. It's a nice blend of comfort and polish. I would have happily stayed to eat there, especially because i'm sure they had some interesting craft beer in the mix (I can't confirm this as I didn't see the drinks menu). But alas, I was on a schedule so after ten minutes, I grabbed my takeaway, paid the lovaly gal at the counter and skipped back to my place. Third relevant fact: for a city that is SO expensive to drink alcohol in, Stockholm is doing it right with food portions. This meal was a great size! With two sides and a sizable burger it was well worth the price. Also, I tip the hat to whoever found these takeaway boxes, because it keeps the food hot and separate - no messy sauce disasters here! But the million dollar question: how was the burger? Fourth relevant fact: Stockholm you boast a darn fine burger... but it's not taking the "best" trophy quite yet. The pattie is sizable, well seasoned and well cooked (god bless you people who understand medium rare burgers!) and I very happily devoured the whole thing but I found the bun a little lacking on this. For burger with so much oophm, I would have liked a heartier bun. So it doesn't take my top burger honours but if I lived in the city, I would definitely make the trip for it and if I'm staying in the area again, i'd be back here with bells on!

The portions were really really small & they don't serve any potato or carbs with the food either so don't go there super hungry! I was awed at the cozy pub feel and excellent line up of taps and bottles. The bartender asked what I'd like, and I told her I was looking to try regional IPAs. She took me around one side of the bar to a fridge filled with a great assortment of beers from the area and proceeded to recommend some IPAS from trending breweries. I started with a Dugges High Five IPA that was near perfect. She let me sample a couple other beers and I again took her suggestion and opted for a Zodiak IPA from Omnipollo. It a had a nice hop taste with floral hints which she described perfectly. She was one of the more knowledgeable bartenders I ran across in my search for IPA perfection in Stockholm. The traditional pub ambiance was perfect, it had a nice outdoor seating area, and it was perfectly maintained inside and out. My only regret is that I didn't eat there but instead went to a plce a few blocks over where I didn't have as stellar an experience. Next time, if I'm lucky to be in Stockholm again I'll be back to this place.
