Nice bistro away from the hustle in Hjørring. Great layout and quiet. We came here for lunch. We had a mixture of fish soup, fish cakes and quiche. The courses came out quite quickly and very very tasty. The fish soup with a butter doug cover. The fish cakes with rye bread and home made remoulade. My boyfriend and I stopped in here to have dinner after a long day of traveling in the car. Luckily, Oliver was our server and he was extremely kind and patient with us! Neither of us speak Danish but he was really helpful in helping us to decide what to order. The food was fantastic and the local beer was very good! I tried a cocktail from their bar and it was equally great. Previous reviews left a comment about slow service but we found that the service was perfectly timed. I don't expect American Applebees speed when I stop in a small European town to dine, so you shouldn't either. read more

The quality and variety of good offered is excellent for the value. As is common in most European cafes, service is slow and inattentive. You will need to flag your waitress down or get up and go to the counter for service. On the bright side, they won't rush you out , even if the cafe is packed .
