It's a really great space, with 'outdoor' (really a covered/enclosed area), and interior bar that rings the kitchen/bar area. It's loud and friendly and the staff are great. There's no English menu, but I stumbled along and had a great beef/chicken skewer dinner with some lovely wine and beer. Overall, great spot, a good alternative for a later dinner in the area. Staff was really really friendly and the bread with delicious sauces - YUM!

You can also ask the waiters to fill a big bowl with a different cocktail. The prices are lower than avarage. The atmosphere inside is very cozy and they usually have good music playing in the background, at night they turn the music a bit louder. Outside they have normal tables and chairs but also lounge couches with heaters. The service could be better though. It's often quite slow!

Quite possibly the best beer place on the west side of the milky way…read more While it's highly unlikely that you would find yourself in the tiny village of Grave in southern Netherlands, the beers you will find here are worth the 5000+ mile journey (from California). Oh where do I start!? Yes, they have Karmeliet, Leffe, plus 100 of the globes best brews. The owner was extremely helpful, and went above and beyond to help these two tired Americans feel welcome. Be sure to try the local Pater Karl bier. By-the-way: my driver/translator (because I don't speak dutch, or anything else besides American) really liked their music.

I will admit, we were a bit apprehensive...it looked cute, but was rather empty when we showed up. I found out at work the next day, that Mondays aren't really a 'going to dinner night' for the Dutch... In any case, we were warmly greeted and quickly brought the wine that we ordered. We elected to order the tasting menu...that is...order it, and they keep bringing food until you're full (then they bring dessert). This is typically not my style, but we were hungry and curious, so we tried it. The starters were varous breads, then olives, then an antipasta platter (the tuna salad was amazing!). I also enjoyed the cured meats and basically everything there... We also had various fish dishes and meats (skewers were especially good) and then the dessert course (which could probably have fed me for dinner). The chocolate mousse was wonderful...I basically liked everything except the tiramisu (which I don't normally like anyway). Service was nice and they did an excellent job explaining the menu in English. Prices were reasonable and quality was great. During my first visit, I had the most friendly waitress, who helped me with the menu and chatted a bit (as I was dining alone, this was much appreciated). I've since seen her two additional times at the restaurant (and those that I dined with later on also found her very friendly). The spot is very nicely adorned, it is a bit dark, but with cheerful accents and lighting. I've never had trouble being seated quickly (though I'm not sure how busy it would be in the summer). The food has been excellent during my visits. I've tried a number of the pasta dishes (though I've never tried the 'make your own' pasta as I'm not very skilled in determing what tastes good together when up to my own devices). Everything was fresh and flavorful! A note, however, is that you can order smaller portions...which I don't think is listed on the menu. The regular portion was quite large for me, but I did my best when trying to finish it! All in all, this was my favorite dining spot in the area. The food was delicious and while service can be a bit slow, it is MUCH quicker than the other places I dined at during my visit. This is appreciated when you've had a long day at work and just want to eat and head off to relax. Definiely a must visit if you're in the neighborhood - fresh, tasty pasta in a nice atmosphere with really friendly staff (and reasonable prices!).

Inmiddels zwaait de tweede generatie de scepter in de vorm van zoon Mang en dochter Pui Cheng. In het restaurant is veel veranderd, maar de gerechten blijven ouderwets lekker. Liefhebbers van de traditionele Chinese keuken weten de weg naar Paradijs Uden wel te vinden. Het restaurant kent dan ook een lange geschiedenis. Ome Chang bestierde in de jaren 70 met restaurant Azië een van de eerste Chinese restaurants in de regio. Oma Sufa Cheng werkte als jong meisje in de bediening. Hier deed ze de nodige ervaring op. In de jaren tachtig nam Sufa Cheng het restaurant over. Sindsdien maakt het familiebedrijf een flinke groei door.
