On board the Bistro Esperanza Bistro we cook by the season. Ingredients, weather and mood control what we put in our pots. Preferably from nearby farms but with a hint of distant ports.

Ombord på Esperanza lagar vi mat efter säsong. Råvaror, väder och humör styr vad vi stoppar i våra grytor. Gärna från nära gårdar, men med en doft av fjärran hamnar. Vi bjuder på genuin atmosfär och hemma hos känsla.
Vår öppna byssa ger närkontakt mellan besättning och gäster. Vi lagar mat från grunden.

History
Established in 2014.
Esperanza is a sailing ship, built in 1902. For many years she sailed in the Netherlands carrying a cargo of sugar. Later on she was turned into a sailing charter and took up to 30 guests on sailing adventures.
2014 she made the (so far) longest trip and ended up in Linköping, Sweden. She is now a bistro in the middle of the city on Kinda kanal. Open all year.
Bistro Esperanza has about 60 seats under deck (and in the captains cabin) all year round. When the season and weather allows 100 guests can enjoy our food and drink on deck. Wonderful location in the middle of Linköping, with a view of the canal.
Meet the Business Owner: Ann-Mari B.
Captain Ann-Mari is the owner and founder of this bistro. A woman who loves to spend time on the sea, and under since she is also a diver.
With a dream of making people feel welcome and at home. Enjoying good food in a relaxed atmosphere.
The captain enjoys the mix of day conferences, relaxed chats with evening guests and evenings with live music.
Ann-Mari has been searching for a ship like this for several years. Genuine ship atmosphere was high on the wish list.
